Carl Froch last fight

Post by Cent0089 »

Carl looking for fight in Vegas. I am still very interrested in Froch - Ward rematch.
Yes Ward beat him via UD years ago and is inactive in last years. People say that Andre is not PPV atraction. But Froch has enough fame to bring some PPVs.
Fight with Chavez jr. is better for fans, but rematch with Ward is better for boxing ! Who is the king of the super middleweight division should be answered :) :) :) (sorry for my english mates)

The king of 168 has been answered, it's Andre Ward. He cleaned the division out when it was deeper than it is now. Froch has looked great since however, has he improved enough to land what he failed to land in the first fight? No, i don't think so, but, if they want to do it again then yeah i'd watch with interest for sure. The problem is Froch has no interest in it. He wants money, and the fight doesn't sell, and i don't htink he fancies retiring off the back of another Ward clinch-fest loss.

Froch is the most deserving contender for Ward's 'crown', if you want to call it that, seeing as Ward is basically a retired guy. Ward probably wins again but Froch does deserve the rematch in the first instance.

Legal issues or no, once a year has passed since Ward's last fight I presume he'll disappear from the Boxrec rankings, and Froch should be considered the best in the division until Ward does something.

An English ref could punish Ward for excessive holding which is an important part of Andre's style. Without it and with U.K. judges, he could lose.

These are the top two guys @ 168, but I feel a rematch would be redundant. Think there are funner options for both.
