If he has anything left, Katsidis gets the stoppage. The fact that Coyle was down so many times to Bruezela who is a non puncher is abit alarming and if Katsidis ever had anything it was power. If he still has enough about him to land his shots with any kind of consistency I think he'll knock Coyle out.

I think this will go very much the same way as Katsidis vs Mitchell.

Since this fight got made ive just kinda assumed that Katsidis would no doubt KO Coyle but the more i think about it,the more im starting to feel that Tommy can actually outbox Michael and avoid any early onslaught, its just whether Coyle can stay switched on for 12 rounds,if he can box to a plan and see it out to the end and not get caught like he did from Mathews then id imagine he has too much in his locker for a battleworn Katsidis

Katsidis is still probably still dangerous enough to piss on more than a few parades and Coyle would be an idiot to take any proper liberties with this guy early on.....but I really don't think Michael is anything like the same man who ruined Kevin Mitchell's big night and Coyle has hopefully improved his technique and learned from the Matthews fight.

Think it will be a good little test for Coyle.....can he be patient and pace himself, making his shots count and be a smart, high-tempo pressure fighter who can break down a fighter without leaving himself wide open?

I hope so, because Hearn ultimately wants to make Campbell v Coyle and that's definitely one to savour.

Coyle will get hurt, it just depends if he can recover. I think he will try to get through it, but if Brizuela nearly stopped him i'm sure Katsidis will finish it.

Katsidis should win this if he's at 75+%, but I can't say where he's at now. He's clearly passed prime form. I didn't see his rematch with Earl, but I've read that both of them looked over the hill. Hopefully they have a tear up- we know that's what Katsidis wants and Coyle will probably get drawn into it.
Coyle should try to box and move early, stay out of exchanges as much as possible and see if he can turn up the volume later only if Katsidis tires.
This certainly looks to be the fight to watch this Sat.

Yeah good point, I can understand that perspective....

I mean a shot Kat went 12 with a shot Earl in his backyard... I have not watched the fight.

If someone can break it down and nail it, this could be a good betting opportunity. But it's a tough one.

I'm leaning towards Kat. Stoppage as Tommy loves a fight.

Coyle is domestic level but Katsidis is so, so shot. For him to be going the distance with a fellow so, so shot Graham Earl, Christ.

Who knows. Pickem.

Very good betting opportunity when doubled up with halls fight, been sat here all night trying to figure it out but can't seem to pick the winner of either fight

Katsidis looked like shitt against Albert Mensah and his inability to stop shot to shit Graham Earl makes me question whether he still has much firepower.

Coyle is limited but he's generally better than Katsidis is at this point in my view (for reasons such as being faster, having better movement, seeming more accurate), and while being hurt so often against Brizuela suggests questionable punch resistance he did show a capacity to survive and come back from very difficult moments.

I'll go for Coyle.

Wow i think Coyle is very underrated on this thread, he beat the living daylights out of Derry but got caught with one punch

and the Brizuela fight he was hit with a body shot which would have stopped most people.

Such a tough one to pick. Katsidis in his pomp would piss all over Coyle, but it is all about how much he has left. I do expect him to start off quick, and if he can nail Coyle within the first 3 rounds then I think he will win with an early KO. The longer the fight goes, the more you expect Coyle to take it. Can he box clever, or will he get dragged into the trenches? I have put a bet at 13/5 for a Katsidis KO, but I do think it could be a classic.
