Source???

This would seem to suggest he has other plans for that date!

He was taking the piss.
That only said he 'could' be there.

Sounds like a bluff to me. Throw us off the scent.

He's split with Booth and not seen him for months, it's unlikely he's going to Ireland to see one of his boys. Blatant lies by the promoter to raise interest in his show, no doubt a few will fall for it.

Why would a big name who has been a proven PPV draw in the past agree to be just an undercard fighter to a main event like this.

Guys like Haye & Froch wouldn't want to be associated with such an uninspiring PPV. My bet is this "big name" gets quietly forgotten about by Eddie, the show goes on as planned & draws the lowest ever PPV buyrate.

You shouldn't do it where Boomer is involved whilst righthook is around...

Boomer - check
Buture's fright - check
Richard 'the secret' Williams - check
Nelson v De Leon - check

If this thread steps up, it could become an all time great

I blame George Groves

He's having a joke, mate. Sarcasm... It lightens the mood a bit, after all it's a terribly depressing subject putting these two on a PPV card, headlining!

i see Craig Mcewan has been down sparring with Matt Macklin , possibly hes been promised a slot against a decent Big name????

either that or hes getting some cash to spar macklin as hes not been up to much at all fight wise.

who knows though , all guess work at this time and most seem to think Haye or Groves or Audley

Hilarious.

Groves must be pissing himself, bet he's been begged by Barney Francis to get on this card, he'll be getting a serious wedge to dismantle a middleweight
