The Return of the Hayemaker
Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
He has the potential to become a world champion once again
Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
If you are basing your views on Haye not being the same fighter he was before his lay off then fair enough. However if he comes back the same fighter then none of those beat him. He decimated Chisora, AJ is too green, Price cant take a punch, and Fury is easy to hit.PokerRob wrote:I wouldnt be able to commit to saying any WOULD beat him, but I think Fury, Joshua, Price and Chisora could beat him, especially now...Crazyboy wrote:
i'd be interested out of the current UK heavies you think would beat him?
To say he is the best heavy in the UK by miles after being being out of action for so long and coming back from major shoulder surgery is a bold claim...
Hopefully time will tell. I hope he does come back and faces someone in the top 50 atleast as I am a big David Haye fan...
Realistically though, I dont think he'll be the force he once was and I think Adam Booth knows that... However, I could and hope Im wrong!
Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
Haye has only had eight fights in the time since Anthony Joshua first walked into a boxing gym.

Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
Haye has dodged the potential boxers that possibly could have given him a hard time. He has waited for this time as its now possible that the titles are ready for anyone to take them.
I for one would never ever pay to see him fight again, not live not Sky not PPV. Actually I would possibly buy a on the night ticket if he fought anyone I wanted to see knock him over.

Afte the Fury situation, if he does come back I will be doing the same and if it is him on Nov 22nd I hope he gets done over.mimmy123 wrote:Haye has dodged the potential boxers that possibly could have given him a hard time. Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
shows you how shit the heaveyweight divison is , haye can take spells out and come back and beat up guys outwith the Klits.Sklar wrote:Haye has only had eight fights in the time since Anthony Joshua first walked into a boxing gym.
you wouldnt really get away with it in other divisions (maybe Floyd apart ) and picking your opponents
i will say though the fight against Chisora was good fight and the finish was brutal , still the best in Britain by far and could still come back and land a world title.

I feel sorry for his prospective opponent.mullenman wrote:Hayemaker is set to return November 22nd in the Echo arena..
will be great news if he comes back in good form as like him or not he is a class boxer and very entertaining
Whoever it is should reschedule another back-up opponent for when Haye eventually pulls out just before fight time.

I dont think Fury can particularily take a punch either to be honest.Finn wrote:If you are basing your views on Haye not being the same fighter he was before his lay off then fair enough. Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
Has Eddie announced his big name yet for the undercard of Bellew-Clev? Thought it was supposed to be today?
Unless of course, Haye is on ringside tonight and it will be announced on there...

Re: The Return of the Hayemaker
That still makes it a very poor PPV card, Groves hasn't yet claimed european honors in his career, he's not a PPV fighter without a top drawer opponent. The Law wrote:Groves has already been confirmed.ScottDetonator wrote:Has Eddie announced his big name yet for the undercard of Bellew-Clev? From a very reliable source!
He will never fight in the UK again imo. Got a money making scheme in Dubai putting on showcase sessions, that'll be him now.
Can't believe he has any fans left here now.

Shannon Briggs, Alex Leapai, Kali Meehan, Eddie Chambers or Tony Thompson would be ideal comeback fights...
