Boxing's biggest attractions?
Which fighters at the moment would say are the biGgest attractions in world boxing today?
Re: Boxing's biggest attractions?
Define attraction. Otherwise, I pick Ronda Rousey.

She looks like a 14 yr old boy with long hair, but to each his own I suppose.
I think FMJ, Pacman, Wlad and Canelo are the biggest attractions now. China has to be considered due to massive population, so Zou Shiming is probably up there even though he's a novice pro. GGG is gaining a lot of momentum, but I think it's going to plateau unless he fights someone very reputable or recognizable like Froch, JCC Jr or Ward.

Someone that you makes you go, bugger going out, I am going to order a pizza buy some beers etc and watch them fight as what I define as an attraction.ikorolev wrote:Define attraction. Otherwise, I pick Ronda Rousey.

So you're not saying marketability per se but rather who you get excited to watch?IRLangmaid25 wrote:Someone that you makes you go, bugger going out, I am going to order a pizza buy some beers etc and watch them fight as what I define as an attraction.ikorolev wrote:Define attraction. Definitely not Wlad. I would watch him, but he would be at about 100th position in my list.chucktaylor wrote:She looks like a 14 yr old boy with long hair, but to each his own I suppose.

Sounds about right that list. I guess it also depends on your tastes. If you prefer the sweeter science then maybe not those guys.ikorolev wrote:Definitely not Wlad. If that's your definition of an attraction, doesn't it cover pretty much all active fighters for a boxing fan? It describes almost every Saturday night for me.IRLangmaid25 wrote:Someone that you makes you go, bugger going out, I am going to order a pizza buy some beers etc and watch them fight as what I define as an attraction.ikorolev wrote:Define attraction. I'm not a big fan either, but Wlad is one of the most recognizable and highest earning boxers in the world. A lot of Germans turn out to see him and they put on quite the pyrotechnics and A/V display, which is usually better to watch than the fight itself.ikorolev wrote:Definitely not Wlad.
