Both very good fighters (not sure what I'm reading sometimes in regards to Alexander) but I think Khan has the edge in speed and the style suits him well enough to pull it out.
Berto sucks, Soto-Karass sucks, Guerrero sucks, 99.98% of fighters at 140-147 are frauds. They are barely even professional fighters.*

Re: Amir Khan vs Devon Alexander
i hope we get a referee to take points away for excessive holding...so tired of watching that BS
holding should not be part of the sport unless a guy is trying to survive from being KTFO
either box or GTFO of the ring

Re: Amir Khan vs Devon Alexander
This is going to be a difficult fight for Khan. I wouldn't discredit Alexander as an opponent, he's still a solid top 10 guy in the Welterweight division. I mean let's face it, the guy has only lost two fights in the past ten years and he's never been stopped. Not to mention that he clearly outboxed Maidana (seeing as he fought Floyd twice, we can safely describe him as a "top contender" or else we would have to knock Floyd's choice of opponent)
Alexander is still a ranked contender despite his loss to Porter last year.
Looking at this fight, I think Amir's speed will win him the fight. But he'll need to be wise when fighting Alexander, the guy aint half bad.

Amirs best win is against Maidana and he had to go life and death with the guy.Crease wrote:This is going to be a difficult fight for Khan. I think if he can beat Devon the Racist, he's finally progressing again in his career instead of getting worse without Roach

That's the point. Khan's blind supporters don't realize that he is a bad boxer. He is fast, but he makes too many errors and doesn't think throughout the fight.VG_Addict wrote:Can someone tell me how the idea that Khan would challenge Floyd started?
I don't know why people think Khan is some master boxer. He struggled against Julio Diaz, and didn't adapt to Garcia's hooks.
Whatever, I've been fighting this battle for years now. I'm not winning anytime soon ... unless Alexander finally puts all of this garbage to rest.

No, nothing racist. Just some stuff about Floyd not fighting black fighters or something.
Re: Amir Khan vs Devon Alexander
Khan's fanboys say he's never been outboxed. Well, Khan's never fought a boxer on the level of Floyd.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:That's the point. Khan has nothing other than speed, and his speed would be negated by Floyd's timing.

Floyd would be the heavy favourite. But when was the last time that Floyd had to deal with an opponent with the speed of Khan?VG_Addict wrote:Khan has nothing other than speed, and his speed would be negated by Floyd's timing.
