Three close rounds so far, couldn't split them in the third. Stalker-Catterall up next after this one.

Yanchys arms seems well long so it's difficult for Satchell to work the body from what I remmeber he won the Britsh with a peach of a body shot.

39-38 Satchell

Satchell takes the round on my card, but he's having trouble with the straight left of Yanchy, it's a looping shot and he hasn't quite judged the distance right yet.

They are both showing an 'admirable' lack of any meat behind their punches. Not a pretty fight. Got the champ up 39-37, but could easily be scored the opposite way.

48-48

Yet another close round, fights like this make me thankful I'm not a judge, really hard to score this one.

This seems close Yanchys will have to get A ko to win in Liverpool.

Me and others on this forum thought Butcher beat Satchell last year on the Price Thompson rematch card.

This can be the case sometimes at these weight classes. Definitely not boring tho which can be the case with the heavyweights.

58-57 Satchell

Best round yet for either man, outworked Yanchy, right hand working well and the Belarussian is pawing a bit at the cut over his left eye.

Agree, it's an interesting if ugly fight. I think I'm just too hungover and twitchy to appreciate it fully :DDD

got it 57-57. Satchell looking better.

68-66 Satchell

Another good round for the Scouser, his timings a lot better now and Yanchy isn't finding the target anywhere near as regularly as he was earlier in the fight.

:TU: I had Butcher winning that.

This is close. Barry Jones I think has given Satchell most of the rounds so far but it's closer than that.

I didn't score it round by round but my overall impression was that Yanchys won a close one.

Had it 116-113 Satchell, the 11 year age gap showed down the stretch with him outworking Yanchy, still a lot to work on for him though, needs 3 or 4 more fights before he steps up to world level.

Thomas Stalker vs Jack Catterall. Both 9-0. Both talking the fight up, looking like both are proper hyped up. Could be good!

Aye, looking forward to this one, I 'think' Catterall draws Stalker in and gets to him...but this is a proper 50/50 :box:

It always is at this time on almost any bill to be fair. A lot of punters only turn up for the top 2 or 3 fights, even tho this one is probably the best of the night.
