Yeah i liked that comment. On a sidenote, this female ref on at the at minute has got a distracting way of moving about the ring.Counter-puncher wrote:oh come on its not that bad. I thought the commentary was excellent.
Very balanced.
Brian Mitchell, whilst having a strong, "rough-around-the-edges" South African accent, is pretty spot on.
As you'd expect from a hall-of-famer.
His colleague is Nick Collis, who although pretty much a South African now who has been there since a kid, actually first entered the world in Buckinghamshire, England.
He kinda effectively acts as a foil for Mitchell.

Yep Mitchell's a very good commentator, his mate was annoying early doors but seemed to calm down later on.

Thought Stuey Hall gave it everything..... hard not to like the guy and what he has achieved, coming back at 34 and forcing a very fancied, talented kid to win the title the tough way. Someone in the Cab corner knew their onions because once he started stepping-off it got difficult for Stuey who was having to chug through a lot hard graft just to get the lad into a position where he had trade. I think Stuey should call it a day; he's overachieved and can leave the business proud of what he did.
Martin was so-so.....as he often can be. Definitely times when he showed he was levels above Spada and some of his classy punches flowed and landed cleanly, but I thought he could have used the ring a bit more and denied Spada the opportunity to use his sole offensive weapon...which was his cannonball-like head.
Like a lot of folk I found the whole Room of the Stars show a lot less slick and glam than I was expecting for high-rolling Monte Carlo......actually, almost Phoenix Nights comic naff. Horrific, never-ending butchering of the National Anthem by some screeching old crone with the bloke standing next to her adding to the hilarity by only waking-up and remember to sing halfway through the piece. All more Brian Potter than James Bond.

Monaco innit. When there's no Mexicans fighting I always feel the same way about Vegas, tbh.

Gutted for Hall last night he fought the fight of his life but Caballero was just too good on the day,i had it 116-112 for Randy but those rounds were tough to score and apart from a couple i wasnt convinced by my own scoring,a fight like that will do Caballero the world of good now he's at world level and id love a rematch,Stuart's 10 times the fighter i thought he would be,even when he was British and Commonwealth champ i still thought he'd do well to win a European title but he'll give any BW in the world a tough night for sure
Murray fight was shite,i wish we got to see the whole Budler/Zhong fight
