I'd expect Campbell to UD Coyle but im still not conviced Luke has the strength late on to hold off a strong LW especially,hopefully for Campbell's sake he can get 10 rounds under his belt before the summer

Campbell stops Coyle in 5. Coyle doesnt have the best punch resistance anyway. I know some might say he looked ok last night against Katisidis, but he's shot to shit and I dont think he gets the same purchase on his shots as he used to.

I think it'd be a good entertaining fight, although Campbell would be the clear favourite it'd still be a big step up for him.

Coyle looked tiny next to Luke last night, to the point of surreality. I don't see someone with Campbell's class letting someone of that size - and I guess skill level - inside so easily. I don't mean disrespect but Coyle would have to be better at getting on the inside than Luke staying on the outside to make the difference up and I'm not sure he is, if that makes sense. Campbell picks him off and stops him around 7-8, after a couple knockdowns early.

Very interesting how it will pan out, coyle and Campbell must have done thousands of rounds growing up. Reguarding coyles size, had a kid up against him 3 times in championships in ams and when I 1st saw him weigh in he looked like a dwarf! However what struck me was the length of his arms in relation to his body, they're touching his knees!! Campbell's boxin brain is better and Id be confident he could keep cool and adjust better to any changes coyle may make. Good fight

I've been pretty disparaging about this match up in other threads, I really dont think Coyle stands a chance. However, on reflection, Campbell isn't a beast so he likely wont take a hideous beating. If he gets some good exposure (and a few quid) from it then good luck to him. My only fear is that it gets built up as some form of PPV extravaganza....

It won't, not big enough outside of Hull. The cash will come from the live gate.

I think so too, surely the Hull fans want 2 fighters heading towards Euro titles and World titles not one, Campbell is not interested, But Cole seems pumped up for it though, I think he feels over shadowed by Campbell.

At this stage in his career its a decent domestic dust up (you know the sort that should be happening more often instead of matchroom fighter vs foreign import coming up a weight for some international/intercontinental/intertoto belt).

Not sure its a stadium fight (or even show headliner for that matter...the old Friday Fight Night days yeah it would have been) but if they can con the people of Hull into buying into it fair enough. I think to everyone else around the country its on par with something like Stalker v Catteral the weekend or Gavin vs Skeete (both of which on War-ren undercards).

Disagree. This is exactly the kind of match-up British boxers need more of to better prepare them for stepping up in levels. The whole "let's wait till both have titles of some sort to make it a bigger fight" argument is void as either one or both could well not make it at a higher level. Similar to BJS V Ryder, the loser shouldn't lose too much credit unless they're completely embarrassed on the night. And if they are embarrassed, then at least they've been found out before being sent over to get exposed by a flashy yank!
