£100000 Bet for Charity Saunders/Eubank

Post by TJ77 »

On talk sport last week BJS proposed a bet for £100000 out of the losers purse to go to charity.
Eubank agreed live on air probably under duress but agreed.

I know its a hype game and things get said but BJS is sounding like a lairy idiot which to be fair he probably is making such bets on top of the stand aside £20000 he offered Eubank not to fight last weekend.

Do you think they should be made to honour the bet as it was made in the media ?
And how much do you think there respective purses will be for the fight.

To be honest mate i dont think they are getting as much as you think.

All that 100,000 bets is just talk because i bet if you looked into their bank accounts they wouldnt have 100,000 just laying around there.

I would be surprised if they where actually getting that for the fight. If i had to guess i would say Billy might get that but eubank would be closer to 50.000

I think it's just hype to sell the fight, this is the closest thing to a domestic cross-over event fwank's had for a long time. And if both of the main fights come off he can expect a significant boost to his subscriber numbers. The hype will be build up, and I hope the whole thing is a success. By the week of the fight they'll be placing million quid side bets.
