Boxrec Sim Introduction (Please read if you are new)

Welcome to the Boxrec Sim. The Boxing Records Simulation, abbreviated as Boxrec Sim, but known locally as just “The Sim” is a boxing simulation game.

The object of the game is to achieve a winning record, try to win titles and (with prolonged success) – enter the Boxrec Sim Hall Of Fame.

The game is divided into seasons lasting between 20-40 weeks - (normally a “week” is a fight card). Each season we have a different weight class, so there’s always a varying cast list. Each Member becomes a Manager for two boxers of their choosing in that weight class and attempts to bring their fighters to glory!

Each season has Commissioners, who ensure the smooth running of the game, keep up the administration of the game and settle disputes between rival Managers.

The game is not affiliated in any way to any boxing body or organisation – nor to any boxers either alive or deceased. It’s just for fun and it has a community of hardcore boxing fans who are dedicated Simmers who will only be to challenge themselves against you.

I rarely posted in the other forums (excepts OT), so doubt I'll be imparting my boxing wisdom his time around

What does "all getting along" have to do with "having a good time"?

Not that they are always mutually exclusive.

For example....we all have a good time when GoldenBuzz fighters clown the competition year after year.

As I recall, in one Historic moment in Simulated history, Bowe was about to knock Tyson into Bolivian, when (conveniently) the clock ran out, and your man Tyson ended up finale champion.

You exploited the timing by claiming some sort of victory.......when it was simply a rescue.

You were very unhappy when we wrote the expose on this tragedy of happenstance, and "getting along" was compromised by ego.

However a splendid time was guaranteed for all once the truth was known.



Now who is this "reviledest" that is making such a noise?

Oh well, we've been trying to upgrade it a bit, doing a bit of expansion on the HOF and that, y'know. Recently we've been having a crop of noobs come in and declaring their imminent domination of the sim - until BoxBuzz and Armageto seen them off. So all in all, pretty much same old, same old.

Question: which organizations do you all account for? I'm asking because -1- ....I am a real boxer and (my wise)..contract point very important to me in order to meet.
