FW hates Curtis
FW hates Curtis
Has anybody seen the Ifilm interview? right at the end they ask about Curtis tweets, he loses it a bit. And has apparently told Hobson that he will never let him fight on his channel

Curtis is the biggest twitter troll around. He's built this social media fanbase on nothing more than being an ex footballer.
Stole a decision against Hamilton, got shown up by Willie and now he's on baiting Brad and Harrison. Boxing is better without this guy imo.

Re: FW hates Curtis
Couldn't of put it better myself. The hamilton decision was a joke and people in boxing allowed there emotions to blinker what was happening. It was a tough fight and pretty close but CW never did enough to take that title.DazDiCanio wrote:Curtis is the biggest twitter troll around. Re: FW hates Curtis
I like him but really not a fan of the twitter stuff.
Re: FW hates Curtis
i like it, its entertaining if nothing else. Take most of it with a pinch of salt.
I follow people like Joshua and Campbell and they're pretty boring. Quality fighters, boring on social media.
Curtis might be an average boxer but he says what he wants when he wants, and for that he gets my respect

Re: FW hates Curtis
weird how two people who have only posted 8 times between them both mention the same thing right after each other in the same thread......
You seem very bitter guys. Go get a coffee and relax a bit

The bitterness is in how you read it, mate.Crazyboy wrote:weird how two people who have only posted 8 times between them both mention the same thing right after each other in the same thread......

I like Curtis, as mentioned above it makes for an entertaining read.

Its all about an opinion and we're all entitled to it.DazDiCanio wrote:The bitterness is in how you read it, mate.Crazyboy wrote:weird how two people who have only posted 8 times between them both mention the same thing right after each other in the same thread......

Re: FW hates Curtis
The point being because we don't have a high post count, our views are taken as bitter rather than constructive? This is one of the reasons i shy away from forums, this one has been recommended to me several times so i thought i'd give it a go.Josh1111 wrote:Its all about an opinion and we're all entitled to it.DazDiCanio wrote:The bitterness is in how you read it, mate.Crazyboy wrote:weird how two people who have only posted 8 times between them both mention the same thing right after each other in the same thread......

Hope everyone else isn't so judgmental.

Re: FW hates Curtis
Damn I better start posting more so my opinion becomes validated.
Re: FW hates Curtis
I think its more about 2 people who are both fairly new with both the same opinions.
Nothing wrong with that and could be a coincidence, only you 2 will ever know!!!
You have to realise, the more opinionated you are, the more you will get shot down. Grow some thicker skin chaps, man up.
Oh and join the prediction league, its a good crack haha

Just found it a weird thing to say 'Boxing is better without this guy, IMO'
Each to their own for sure but he has a great story in boxing alone, has been in some good fights and leaves it all in the ring almost every time, so to say the above comment seems harsh to me.
That been said if I'm wrong I apologise, you are of course entitled to your opinion, and rightly so.
Welcome by the way

What I meant is I don't know what he brings now, he's had his run and now he seems to spend more time on twitter than training
Re: FW hates Curtis
Losing to Limond isn't something to be embarrassed about; Willie has become a very tidy and precise hitting box/fighter. Curtis seems to train pretty hard and if he wants another go then fair play to him. Curtis also knows how to get a bit more publicity behind him. The Hamilton bout was close and I thought Darren won but the Judges didn't. The twitter stuff is chat and banter and people get all twisted up over some silly things.

Re: FW hates Curtis
I'm amazed there's a thread about this and not the Eubanks unprofessionalism.
Re: FW hates Curtis
Spill the beans stevie
Re: FW hates Curtis
For me this is a stroke of genius from the Eubanks

What've they done, Josh?

Never showed up for the press conference, even tho BJS travelled back from marbs.
Eubank better win, cos I can see many promoters wanting to accommodate senior after this.

Cheers Stevie
do you think it's mind games or tardiness?

Re: FW hates Curtis
Who knows. I do think senior will be the undoing of jnrs career tho. He thinks he's a clever man, which just isn't the case. Jnr would be better off with a professional team behind him.palooka wrote:Cheers Steviedo you think it's mind games or tardiness?
Similar to fury and his old man prior to prison
Re: FW hates Curtis
There was nothing wrong with the Woodhouse vs Hamilton decision. It was a close fight, but I thought Woodhouse did enough to nick it.

Agreed with the above.Horse wrote:There was nothing wrong with the Woodhouse vs Hamilton decision. It was a close fight, but I thought Woodhouse did enough to nick it.
I'm also not sure what's genius about not turning up to a press conference? I just find the Eubanks behaviour mildly irritating. In terms of boosting the profile of the fight to the crossover audience, it feels like a missed opportunity.

I don't think it even close, sorry. Spoke to Darren about it at York hall one night, he was in agreement(obviously) hahaHorse wrote:There was nothing wrong with the Woodhouse vs Hamilton decision. It was a close fight, but I thought Woodhouse did enough to nick it.
