Who's psyched up for Ali Raymi vs Prince Maz IV ?
These two are about to lace up for the fourth time in four months. The first time Maz retired at the end of round 1. the second time he was stopped in 7. The last time he was beaten in 9. Think it will go the distance this time? what an incredible saga between ATG warriors.

The rivalry to end all rivalries

Watched one of his fights on you tube other day, there was no proper ring canvas just what looked like a plastic sheet and when the other guy went down from a ridiculous volley of punches the ref did the count backwards !

I can't wait for Raymi/Maz XII!!! Should be late next year!

With Novoa losing and Rodriguez leaving due to inactivity.. a win over Maz may put Raymi at #4 in the division in the BoxRec rankings.... sigh.

Raymi only got 1 point for the last win over Maz, so hopefully this time he'll get 0.JCS wrote:With Novoa losing and Rodriguez leaving due to inactivity.. a win over Maz may put Raymi at #4 in the division in the BoxRec rankings.... sigh.

And just realized Rodriguez has a fight scheduled for tomorrow, so all is not lost.jujigatame wrote:Raymi only got 1 point for the last win over Maz, so hopefully this time he'll get 0.JCS wrote:With Novoa losing and Rodriguez leaving due to inactivity.. a win over Maz may put Raymi at #4 in the division in the BoxRec rankings.... sigh.
Raymi won't get 0 though, assuming he wins in dominant fashion... he'll get a point or so.

Rodriguez is fighting WAAAAY above the Minimumweight limit so the odds are he'll be removed from the rankings soon anyway.JCS wrote:And just realized Rodriguez has a fight scheduled for tomorrow, so all is not lost.jujigatame wrote:Raymi only got 1 point for the last win over Maz, so hopefully this time he'll get 0.JCS wrote:With Novoa losing and Rodriguez leaving due to inactivity.. a win over Maz may put Raymi at #4 in the division in the BoxRec rankings.... sigh.

Yep.. looks like I was wrong.. I just assumed it was inactivity and had no idea he moved to 112.Boxing Prospect wrote: Rodriguez is fighting WAAAAY above the Minimumweight limit so the odds are he'll be removed from the rankings soon anyway.

With all the moving and shaking at 105lbs it seems likely that Kosei Tanaka will get his dream and will get a shot at a world title in fight 5! Tanaka Vs Raymi for the vacant WBO title when Rodriguez gives it up?
