BN had well documented cash-flow problems in the early months, that's perfectly normal for a new business. I do understand the myopic point of view of those fighters who were impacted at the time as a result of that but to still be harping on about it now doesn't take 'balls'. I'm sure anyone on here who has worked for themselves has had to wait for money from time to time, no need to name and shame. Dry your eyes and deal with it privately.
the show in question was on SKY was it not? did they not pay on time?

The TV company pays the promoter, the promoter pays the fighter. This fight took place when box n a t I On was being put together, a few months before it's first live broadcast. I am sure sky paid on time.

I'm glad that Frank W started Box N ation; I'm surprised that someone with his nounce doesn't have a pot of money to one side for contingencies.

Box-nation is quality, really good channel. Buncey, while a bit annoying is a quality presenter, like Lillis and Barry too. Without it, we would be seeing a lot less top class boxing.

I like Bunce and Lillis; Bunce is a crabby bastard though - he makes me laugh out loud with some of his stuff though I understand that some just can't take to him.

You're right Daz; without the channel british boxing fans would be up the creek; it really does look like boxing is eating itself - whatever machinations and strategies are being fought out by the promoters it doesn't look as though some of them really give a fig about the sport.

Anywhere but there, I've never boxed on allegedly ever, so its no loss to me what so ever, if no fights come up that I fancy or excite me I wont fight again, I'm pretty cool about it, I fight because I enjoy it, I do it for the fun of it, if nothing comes up ill carry on doing my football management, I've already turned down 2 good fights on TV because I'm not in shape so I don't see it being a issue

Do you really not think that a skilled and experienced fighter like Limond would be a good opponent for Saunders?
As good as he has looked he is still a 10 fight prospect
I'd put him in with Di Rocco next, he's 28, was a top quality amateur and he's been a pro nearly 3 years, forget messing around at domestic level, it's time he started moving forwards quickly.

Paying much bills nowadays, amateur football?

Anyway, the point I made earlier about Hearns business plan is concreted by his signing of Brad then announcing a NE show! Honestly, he's like the casual king of boxing!

Curtis although Iv been a fan of you some
Of the stuff you say is billy big bollocks, you were an average fighter who got the nod in a close/boring fight , FW ever done anything to you personally? End of the day of people have a problem with
Him contact the board don't bitch about it, did you skate Hearn for what he did to purdy in the usa? Do you agree with killing a fighter in sauna to make weight, never mind putting his fighters to the dogs in away fights, his win to lose ratio in world level fights are insane, he's damaged scottish boxing by knowing burns struggles with smaller southpaws( I knew this) destroyed simpson putting him in with lightweights at weeks notice, didn't showcase any talent in Scotland and went with Morrison fighters when he should have set on fence and showcased scotland as a great boxing nation rather than a bitch fest, he's alsp gonna make sure willie Limond loses that titles as fast as he got them, in which he belived you were the man to beat him, Hearn is more interested in lining his pockets, this PPV card is a big example, unreal , poaching fighters the list goes on, his attitude is shit in which he's always right, wanna ppv but it if not don't, broadcaster won't like that I wudnt think, Sky subscribers being ripped off watching a prospect with extensive amateur ezpierienxe fighting guys who are paid to survive (just) british boxing is in the doldrums !!
