Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Ajisafe defends his British LHW title this saturday in a rematch against Dickinson on Ch5,how is gonna play out?
Bob won wide decision a couple year back in an English title fight and i expect him to repeat the feat this weekend,i expect it to be closer on the cards but Ajisafe's just a bit too skilled and awkward for Travis and he wins a UD IMHO
EDIT i almost forgot this doubles up as the Maxinutrution final,i liked the tourney, apart from the final itself there werent too many delays, and theres been some cracking scraps,Ajisafe/Francis,Dickinson/Clarkson are FOTY contenders
I hope they do something similar again

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
I'd have liked to have seen two of the better losers from the tournament fighting on the undercard. It seems like an obvious thing they could have done.
Francis vs Clarkson or something like that.

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
All down to Travis to make it interesting and give himself a chance by landing hard and early....otherwise he'll find himself getting messed around....seeing the slipping rounds away.....and possibly tagged in a bad way later.

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Miles Shinkwin would make a welcome addition to this tournament / round robin of light heavyweights, but for some reason, there's an eerie silence whenever I mention Miles to that promotional outfit.
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Travis win for me too much power and looks way better than when he fought him before, 2 knockouts so far in the competition could be a 3rd I would not be surprised
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Is anyone actually talking about that? No, so shut the fornicate up with your bitterness.metchampion wrote:Miles Shinkwin would make a welcome addition to this tournament / round robin of light heavyweights, but for some reason, there's an eerie silence whenever I mention Miles to that promotional outfit.
Ajisafe wins by decision for me.

How would you see Shinkwin v Burton going?
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Agreed. Didn't Hennessy tell Clarkson that he would be guaranteed a place on the undercard after his display against Dickinson? I think that "Star" is retired for good this time, but surely the could've thrown him in against someone like Leon Senior (the other Semi Finalist).Horse wrote:I'd have liked to have seen two of the better losers from the tournament fighting on the undercard. Not sure how you come to that conclusion???? He got absolutely destroyed first fight, he was suppose to have too much power then and Bob ate him, it was Bob who showed the power that night.knockout5 wrote:Travis win for me too much power and looks way better than when he fought him before, 2 knockouts so far in the competition could be a 3rd I would not be surprised
Personally I think Bob will school him again but should b a good fight

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
I'll be rooting for Travis (local lad & all that) but if I was putting money down it'd have to be on Ajisafe, just think he's got too many skills & will frustrate the life out of him all night. Looking forward to it though.
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
going by the show I watched where Dickinson had the fight with all the knockdowns.....Clarkson or China Clark (sorry I don't know lad's name) - and Ajisafe's performance on the same bill I think Ajisafe is quite a bit better. I wasn't impressed by Dickinson that night. Strong right enough, but also quite slow and crude imho. I think Bob stops him anywhere from 6 onwards.
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Been a good tournament & hopefully they will have another to follow it which will be equally as good.

Could only see one winner off what I have seen. Burton.Manchester Massive wrote:How would you see Shinkwin v Burton going?

Just saw a tweet fights off travis injured
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
The fight is still on the BoxRec schedule. Normally they are among the first to know about any change of proceedings.maley1984 wrote:Just saw a tweet fights off travis injured

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
The problem with this tournament is it's integrity. If this was the wbo or WBA tournament they'd bring in a total unknown with no prior involvement to make up the numbers in the final.
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Travis' brother tweeted it was off, I'd call that a reliable source ;;-)Crease wrote:The fight is still on the BoxRec schedule. Normally they are among the first to know about any change of proceedings.maley1984 wrote:Just saw a tweet fights off travis injured

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
This would have been a good fight but how fit is clarkson????
Has he been in full time training
Has he been in full time training
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
If he can make the weight then it should be for the title.

Seems like a raw deal for Travis if it's for the title. The date's been changed twice already, not Travis fault, once because Bob Ajisafe was injured. Bob's the defending champ so I suppose he can make a voluntary defence but what about this Maxinutrition Tourney?
Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
He was supposed to be fighting December 14th in Bolton, so he was training and dieting, but it's at a catchweight, so no title on the line. There was a couple of fights that he was training for a while ago that didn't come off, so he eased off the training, but he's been in full training for a few weeks now and on off for a bit longer. He probably won't be 100%, but he's never going to be at 2 days notice.righthook wrote:This would have been a good fight but how fit is clarkson????

Re: Bob Ajisafe vs Travis Dickinson
Non title but it is the final, hard on Dickinson but I guess they couldn't wait around any longer.robster wrote:GlobalBox wrote:Will it be for the British title do you know or just a 10 rounder?Naandrew wrote:Matt clarkson is stepping in
