Re: Manny Siaca
I had no clue he was still fighting, I thought his last bout was the Danny Green fight in 2010.
Aside from the surprising win over Mundine I don't think he was ever particularly good.

Fought in Australia last night and got stopped. he took some decent shots and his father stopped it in the corner.

Re: Manny Siaca
Siaca was always a solid B level kind of guy who was competitive in world title fights, but generally came up just short. Look at the results of his world title fights:
Sept 2000 - Lost via split decision to Bruno Girard for the WBA super middleweight title
Mar 2001 - Lost via 12th round TKO while ahead of points against Byron Mitchell for the WBA super middleweight title
Sept 2001 - Lost via split decision to Byron Mitchell for the WBA super middleweight title
May 2004 - Won a split decision over Anthony Mundine for the WBA super middleweight title (Mundine was fighting with a sprained ankle)
then:
Nov 2004 - Lost via 7th round retirement to Mikkel Kessler in his first defence of his WBA super middleweight title
Jul 2006 - Lost via wide UD to Silvio Branco for the WBA interim light heavyweight title
It seems the WBA liked Siaca as much as they liked Ruiz! He's well past his best now but was once a fairly formidable opponent for all but the top level fighters. Also a big guy with long reach for the divisions he fought in.
