You're aware that he already got dominated and busted-up by Trout, right?[/quote]

I'm aware......he's no middleweight so he needs to go back to 154 and either fight Canelo or try to avenge his loss to Trout.

Canelo will be eating left hooks on his way to the canvas. Cotto's brother nearly knocked him out, Miguel will finish the job, he's a class apart from Canelo technically.
Hello Ricky,

Obviously everything - up to the fight - is speculation on our part.

But if you think that he will lose to Miguel because of a difficult 2nd round against a seasoned fighter with a 31-1-1 record when he was 19 years old I have to question your sanity.

Miguel Cotto is a shoe in a lower level hall of fame but he is now an old 34. His recent record is pretty shady. He beat a Martinez who lost against a very average (but tough) Murray. He dispatched a lower level Rodriguez. Lost to both Mayweather (no shame in that) & Trout (by 9 rounds), beat a half blind Margarito and scraped past an old drunk in Mayorga.

I honestly think that Margarito had heavily loaded gloves in their first fight & that ruined Cotto. That's just my opinion & Cotto's still a class fighter (he will be as long as he lives) but he took some abuse that night.

Something got (illegally) punched out of him that night & it's a testament to the man that he's still performing at a high level. But I see a 4/5 round win or kayo for Canelo. Bigger, younger, fresher. In their prime Cotto may have been better but his prime was 7 years ago.

Why do you keep saying that? He's not a Top Rank fighter, and he hasn't fought any Top Rank opponents in years.
