Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
Kovalev wins the second round... pure aggression... Hopkins fighting a rather unusual style tonight... most unlike him in a way... in the first he seemed tight, not relaxed... now Hopkins seems to be luring Kovalev into making a mistake
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
I know Hopkins starts slow but this is no ordinary guy he's fighting.
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
30-26 Kovalev

Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
Hopkins, taking bombs, but he's not showing signs of being hurt... he pushed Kovalev down in the start of the round... he's trying to show the Russian he isnt one to be bullied... Hopkins threw back exchanges... but its another round for the Russian
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
after three Kovalev pressing the action and cutting off the ring. Kovalev has won all three rounds so far.
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
If Hopkins is still fairly fresh by the midway stage he can win this.

Hopkins is a clever bastard defensively. He rides the shots. but has hardly landed anything. He's taking the shots well, but also because he tucks the chin in.

Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
Hopkins loses the fourth... but its clear to me... hes trying to make Kovalev miss, trying to make Kovalev work harder to get those shots in... Kovalev wins the round... but Hopkins seems cool as a cucumber in there
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
50-44 Kovalev

Easy, easy to score

Bernard's corner needs to surrender soon enough to avoid too much damage.

Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
Hopkins loses the fifth... but hes exchanging back a bit more... showing the Russian he isnt intimidated... and if one notices, hes making Kovalev miss quite alot... The Russian wins the round... but I'm seeing the strategy that Hopkins is attempting here
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
Hopkins can either be all defense and lose every round or start to open up and then get hurt badly.
He's got no chance to win this fight.

Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
60-53 Kovalev
Re: Bernard Hopkins vs. Sergey Kovalev (and undercard)
Hopkins can win the last 6 and will still lose.
He has no path to victory.
