Hopkins loses the round, but was aggressive....

Kovalev must be thinking to himself.... "This man isnt human"

fornicating hell ref you should've stopped that, did you want Hopkins dead? I could hardly look in the end, I'm just glad Hopkins (seemingly) is OK. Kovalev shut out.

Bernard's motherf4cking corner and the motherf4cking ref should have stopped it.

I wonder if Hopkins will think he won this fight.

Too right, that last minute was horrible. Hopkins isn't human to stand up from that lot. Maximum respect.

Disappointing that. Too one sided.

Hopkins is a remarkable boxer and has some pride and guts.

Kovalev is more than a power hitter, he boxes with intelligence.

It was good to see the respectful post bout interviews.

I know alot of people will say this is just merely a fight where a man stayed in boxing for too long...

But in my eyes, this is more an indictment of Kovalev than it is Hopkins...

For all the hype, the publicity of this man being the ultimate destroyer...

The one thought in my mind during the end of the fight was.... "Andre Ward could beat this man"

I wasnt impressed with Kovalev... but will say, I hope that Hopkins will retire after this

It was clear, you could see it in Hopkins eyes before the 9th round started... he knew he couldnt win.

It was all a matter of survival from that point onwards.

I said before the contest, in the dressing room, Hopkins looked like Jack Johnson and Kovalev looked like Willard... I hate to say it, but I feel I was right in that assessment... the passing of the torch...
