BWH Rankings as of 8 November 2014:

Champion: Wladimir Klitschko
1. Alexander Povetkin
2. Kubrat Pulev
3. Tyson Fury
4. Bermane Stiverne
5. Dereck Chisora
6. Bryant Jennings
7. Vyacheslav Glazkov
8. Tomasz Adamek
9. Carlos Takam
10. Deontay Wilder
11. Tony Thompson
12. Steve Cunningham
13. Chris Arreola
14. Odlanier Solis
15. Ruslan Chagaev

Topic A - How are the rankings affected by Artur Szpilka's UD10 win over Tomasz Adamek?

My vote: Szpilka in at #11, Adamek OUT.

Note: This topic is for voting on the rankings of Szpilka and Adamek. Posting your own Top 15 will not count as a vote. Please cast your vote in the manner than I have done above.

Adamek out
Szpilka remains out

I think Adamek was largely done, perhaps not deserving of his current ranking, and given the rest of Szpilka's resume I don't think he's quite a top 16 HW.

Sorry, that's not how it works, you can only vote for the rankings of Szpilka and Adamek in this thread. Feel free to vote for either Wilder or Chisora when they next fight - they are ranked fighters so I will be sure to make a new topic.

Okay, so Adamek out and Szpilka stays out.

And we can decide on #15 later.

At this point I don't think Adamek should be in the top 15. He was dominated by the fairly mediocre Glazkov, who had far more problems with and arguably deserved to lose to journeyman Derric Rossy, then apparently clearly lost to the possibly even more mediocre Szpilka. To then bump Szpilka, someone whose best results include his tough wins over Mike Mollo and a win over ancient Jameel McCline in which the latter broke his jaw, into the top ten range as some are doing is a bit much in my view, especially considering how out of his depth he was against Jennings compared to another unranked fighter in Perez.

yeah but you can argue that with alot of fighters just cos they lose doesnt mean they should go out top 15

look at solis, what has he done, wilder, chagaev, arreola

if adamak is out then arreeola should follow

Did any of those fighters lose consecutive fights to someone Glazkov then someone like Szpilka when they were ranked? Someone who was unranked prior to the bout and was recently outclassed and stopped by Bryant Jennings? Someone whose best prior win was arguably a lackluster decision over Brian Minto?

Adamek hasn't had a good win in several years either.

Adamek Out
Szpilka In At #13 (i.e. between Arreola and Solis, with Adamek out of the rankings)

I think Solis and Chagaev are garbage. I would probably rank almost anyone above them, including Szpilka.

Szpilka - Enters at No. 12
Adamek - Down to No. 14

Adamek still deserves to be ranked more than Solis. Solis has got to go.

I since corrected, but yes.

Solis fighting nearly even with Thompson in his most recent bout, proves he is at least semi-legitimate. I also thought Cunningham beat Adamek. Not sure Arreola belongs, but I don't think Szpilka or Adamek belongs above Solis.

Thompson beat Solis widely. I had it 118-110 Thompson.

Solis just plods around the ring looking cocky. Why do people give this guy so much credit? He's awful.

What's his best win? Monte Barrett? Solis has never beaten anyone as good as Adamek.
