If Khan beats Alexander which he should do in my opinion what do you think is the next best fight for him?

From what I understand, Mayweather will fight Khan if he beats Alexander.

Imo if Khan beats Alexander, he puts himself on the level of Porter. Porter beat Alexander so they would be a good match up. A year ago Khan had the chance but chose to avoid Alexander because he knew a loss would have ruined the Floyd fight. Alexander lost since then, and isn't the same quality of opponent to warrant a Floyd fight. He should have chosen Guerrero, Porter, Brook, or Thurman but think he chose the safest fight for him.

I think Floyd needs a very recognizable opponent to push Canelo off the Cinco de Mayo date, so logic tells us that it will be Pacquiao or Khan in May....assuming both win. Khan/Alexander is a 50-50 fight though.

Either fighter probably would get a Mayweather fight with a win. If not immediately, I would just play the waiting game and try to notch another halfway decent victory like Berto to stay relevant.

I think it's Kell Brook for sure. Khan ain't getting no Floyd fight. They had it done last year around this time, but I personally prevented the fight from happening ... in a monumental post denouncing the fight that got the boxing world's attention ... Khan just can't sell enough.

However, Khan/Brook would be a pretty big fight in the UK. A Khan win there (that won't happen), would propel him to big fight discussion. Most likely a fight with Manny.

Khan is just like every other big name competing at 147 & 154.

They're all waiting for the Golden Goose (aka Floyd Mayweather Jr) to give them call & offer them a shot.

If Mayweather Jr doesn't phone him, Brook is the only other big fight for him.

The Brook fight will be there for 2 years or so, don't think Khan would take it now when it can be built to a huge promotion in the UK.

Mayweather: Regardless of whether people think he's 'earned' it, a win over Alexander is legit enough for Floyd to justify fighting Khan. And IMO Khan is a big enough name, particularly when you consider the UK PPV this will generate.

Khan has said before he wants to retire at 28. If he gets the Floyd fight and competes well, he probably will. He will then go on to say he fought the best and beat all the other big names, so there is nothing left for him to achieve. Sound stupid? That is how delusional Khan is.

I wonder if both Floyd and Manny retired, who would he be obsessed with fighting then? Thurman? Canelo? Porter? Andrade? Lara? :OhYes:
