they are advertising Fury / Chisora on all the boards & posters etc.... but no mention of Bellew / Clev

he doesn't even pay for them either just streams so its not a cost issue.... just no interest

People talk about 'The Westminster Bubble' and how those contained in that bubble i.e. politicians, senior civil servants and media churners, become so absorbed & obsessed that they start to believe that there is a rabid nationwide interest in what they're doing when there isn't. British boxing is going like that.

i will be buying it but not happy to do so,
really looking forward to the main event for obvious reasons and also i am enjoying following AJ career but the other fights are just having run out fights and i dont expect any of them to be competitive,,

I also hope they throw audley in with a good opponent as he does bring interest

I'd rather lick Eddie's big toe for 3 hours than pay £17 nicker for this mediocre card.

I've paid for PPV's since the beginning(when they were actually a mega world title fight), rarely miss a show, even managing to fit in 'Ringside' every week, spread the word the best I can and try to promote the sport the best I can, watch over 750+ fights a year. Then I get treated like a walking wallet by Sky/Matchroom when they smell blood and a way to con us out of a few more pounds.

I'm not having it and I will be slimming down my Sky subs once Christmas is over(I can't miss the world darts!) on principle over this whole affair. But even now with Sky Sports 5, they have another channel to spread sports over, meaning you can't even just have Sky Sports 1+2 and then extra for HD and now even extra for a fight card, with fighters I've followed since day one and a promoter that I have given my full backing to :witzend:

You might as well just cancel the lot and stream what you can. To say I am peeved off, is an understatement. This whole PPV event will have repercussions and I hope it bombs.

Plus, looks like the night will be on for about 6 hours, so I'd probably be drunk/asleep by the time the 'main event' comes on anyway...

Casual lad at work mentioned today about the 22nd, didn't even know it was PPV, he's amazed at all the 'BIG' names on it though.

I think they are panicking about it, there can't be many buys if it's still being added to.

Adding fights 2 weeks before the date of a PPV card, you don't see anything wrong with that?

I'm just saying it was always happening. And it certainly doesn't mean they are not getting the Ppv numbers that's why there adding fights.

First of all, he couldn't say Saunders was on the card till it was signed and sealed

And second the next fighter to be announced if it's who I'm thinking it is has took time to put together as its a bit bizarre

And the other fighter who no1 has mentioned yet and if I am correct in thinking who this is then I didn't expect him to be on any of eddies bills so maybe that's why he has left it late to announce.

So Saunders wasn't going to be on it until after it was announced? And the other mystery men that you're on about, well us mortals without the inside information that you have will just have to wait and decide.

As usual though, I think i'm right and have made a valid point. I think this PPV is bombing, big time.

The Ppv may Bomb but 100% they are not adding fights because they think it is, them fights where always getting added just look at the interview 3 weeks ago when eddie said there will be at least 3 fights being added at a later date

Look at it like this! Do u think any of the casuals will buy the Ppv now coz Saunders and a couple of other names are being added? Not a chance the show is more than big enough for the casual fan they think it's amazikg how it is, this is just eddie wanting to pack it out and make a statement

And that statement being, 'I'm going to rip off the loyal fans in favour of trying to con Joe Public into thinking this is a massive world event and make a few quid for Christmas. Big innit.'

I will be surprised if this ppv does any more than 45k buys. The main event isn't really a fight the average joe outside of Liverpool/cardiff really wants to buy.

Its annoying that we have to wait for a ppv for a big match up, Most of match room main event fights on sky are just full of either some title eliminator or a one sided fight usually you have to rely on the undercard for entertainment.

I hear you, Joe. It's all getting a bit pointless.

If this is the way forwards, mediocre domestic fights on PPV and the whole 99% win undercard fights, selling us brass and telling us it's gold, then boxing on SkyS is in big trouble.

Obviously, that hurts every level of the sport not just us the fans.

Any fight added now is just pure filler and at this rate the show will last all weekend, should have made 4 decent 50/50 matches plus Bellew and it may have had a chance of selling, a long list of fighters against no hopers is worthless as an attraction

Agree with this, i have said myself why not put 6/7 50/50 fights or at least 60/40 fights on and I don't think people would have minded.
As this bill stands there will be 2/3 good fights and the rest will b walk overs

I wish I had a local like that. Last time I wanted to watch something on allegedly, I had to get a bus to the only pub within miles of where I live that had the channel.

I think it's closed down now. Probably scared people off showing all those Eubank post-fight interviews.

2 things worth noting mate

1. This is a boxing forum and most people on here are hard core boxing fans and know that this show isn't really worth the Ppv due to the mainly one sided fights. The audience that eddie/Ppv is going for is the casual fans who haven't been watching it long and sees this as an amazing card packed with big names.

2. Allot of people on here will say they are not watching it to keep face but come fight night will probably end up getting it, not everyone of course but u can bet your life some will
