A good trainer can make or break a fighter.

I'd say Richardson for the defensive part.

Nobody can vote for Virgil, surely.

Robert Garcia made a pretty big impact i suppose.

Can't believe Joe Gallagher isn't up there.

And who can tell who coaches whom. How do you track them. Dont tell me you remember every coach of every fighter. Would be nice if Boxrec cataloged them actually.

Cotto and Dawson's pages would be a pain in the ass to maintain

I thought about that. But the trainer changes are far less frequent then fights. So if you can keep track of that why should this be a problem.

One of the best trainers of all time yes but could very well be a dick in person.

From the list I picked Roach because I can see the difference in fighters when they're trained by him it's like he has a specific style . A lot of times it's hard to tell how much is the trainer and how much is the fighter.

I think roach is the best , along with Berstain, and Robert Garcia right up there..I think John David Jackson should be on your list for his work with Kovalev.

Well deserved really, his lads listen to him and he's got them boxing to orders and following a game plan to get the win, its not my preferred way I like a more instinctive fighter but its certainly impressive.

He may not be the very best, but Abel Sanchez should certainly have been in the list.

I would really like to see Roach develop a fighter from the start.
He gets too much credit for taking proven champions and teaching them just a little more.

I think he is great at what he does.I just want to see what he can do with a good amateur turning pro.

Virgil Hunter's advice is always spot on and detailed.
He does train some fighters who simply can't do it,
but the effort and preparation is always there.

What is so deep and insightful about Freddie Roach?
I think he is more respected and liked than he is the best trainer.

Wait a minute, I forgot, HBO said Roach is the greatest trainer, so it must be so ... as all things Lord HBO tells us.

Roach has no adjustments for any fighters, he trains them and they either win or lose as is. He isn't as overrated as Atlas, but he's overrated. As much as I'd love for Bradley to beat Pac, I'd rather just watch Atlas look like an asshole while he poses for the camera and begs for attention.

I like Eddie Mustafa Muhammad.
