Klitschko fighting on Eurosport this weekend

Bring that Charlie Webster in again, for it. :OhYes:

Don't bother with Tyson Fury though, I could do without him.

Just read that Klitschkos team weren't allowed into todays press conference

Anyone know how this will clash with the Dublin card, I'd rather watch this than the Macklin fight live but would rather watch the Dublin undercard over this one

The Eurosport card seems to be on from 8pm, but no idea when the Klitschko ring walk will be.

I tend to always watch Wlad's fights - it will be around 10ish maybe a few minutes after.

Is it worth seeing? I had it recorded for ages but never got around to watching & ended up deleting it when I needed to free up space quickly.

Its a brilliant film/docu,ive got it on dvd,the Klitschko's come across really down to earth and genuine

Its a strange thing to say about the HW champ of the world but I almost feel sorry on the flak Wlad has to put up with, not in the movie just in general, from fans, journo's and boxers alike

He seems fair game,i know his hugging and leaning can be frustrating to watch but boxers who come boring in with head, throw low blows and rabbit punches recieve nowhere near the stick Wladimir gets

He's a big boy though so im sure he couldnt give 2 hoots

It is really good. There are not many skeletons in Klit cupboard (apart from Vitali steroid allegation) so it's not a traditional boxing got out of ghetto/escaped crime etc story.

But even though the Dad was a high ranking officer, they lived in these tiny apartments in some freezing God-forsaken places.

Behind the iron curtain, everybody was poor as sh1te I guess and it's an intersting insight.

They are very bright, well spoken, decent guys. Well worth a watch.

I'll be watching. Wlad does seem like a nice guy, but I don't like either brother as a fighter, and I'm always rooting against them. Pulev, on the other hand, I really like; a heavyweight who does everything at least reasonably. I'm not confident enough to predict a win, but I don't think he'll give up, and I have a little feeling about it.

I'll have watched the England vs South Africa rugby in the afternoon, and also England vs Slovenia or whoever it is they're playing in the football.

Switch over the Klitschko fight, carry on drinking. :salut:

Always really is with Klitschko fights though. Most people that go are only going to watch Wlad in germany i think.

Can't be any worse than the last time I watched a Eurosport evening of boxing. One guy on the undercard was fighting a guy who must've been in his 40s and had a massive beer belly. He knocked him down three times in the first. It looked like he was laying the smack down on his dad.

I can't even remember who the main event was.

Well she's just resigned as patron for Sheff Utd, so there's a good chance she's available for work. :yay:
