Bellew goes on about comments made by Clev in first fight post-press conf. I've watched it a few times and have no clue what he's talking about...

Bellew seems to love to act the prick. But there's no indication his tongue is in his cheek. Sometimes he seems ok, but it's like he's consumed by bitterness and hatred.

He's the kind of nutter who's loyal to his 'boys' but an irrational bastrerd (sic) to anyone he considers a fence sitter.

There has never been a reasonable explanation why Tony hates Clev, who seems level and hard to dislike.

Regardless, no way I'm paying £16.95 for this

That is me. I also do triathlons, a marathon, sub 7 minute mile pace, so guess I am reasonably fit. I train 7 days per week for up to 2 hours and follow a diet which involves weighing my meals, calculating exact macros and not going outside of that plan. I also raise my three children by myself, including one with special needs.

I also own a regional newspaper company which is the largest in this area. I set it up when I was 25 and within 7 years had forced the closure of my rival which had been established for 74 years and part of the fourth biggest publishing group in the world. By the age of 27 I was employing 37 people.

I am also challenging for the British title in my own sport next year and if successful automatically then challenge for the world title next November in Spain and last year I worked with the British team behind the scenes last year and helped us to four world titles and my training partner picked up a world title at that Championship in Paris.

Who gives a fcuk, but don't go assuming we are all here banging away on a keyboard in the Jeremy Kyle adverts. No one gives a flying fcuk about any of that ^^^^ but it is in response to what you asked. What do you do then?

Bellew acted a total muppet, his analogy was odd and I think even confused Colin Murray.

Whatever buncey said it clearly was enough to rile him so much that he spews poop like he does to cleverly.

He keeps banging on about His fights at light heavyweight especially chilemba(which he was lucky to get the draw iirc) and how clev was a paper champion but when bellew stepped up to fight clev he got beat, steps up to face Adonis acts the tough guy and turns in a performance that would embarrass anyone who claims to be a warrior. That night he didn't want die in that ring like he keeps saying he wanted to get out of it.

To many who suffered such a spanning wpuld have came back a lot more humble, a lot less hobby and a lot less contradictory.

Clev to win again as bellew loses his cool and forgets everything.

The thing is, I come across as a bit of pudendum posting that response, which he asked for and anyone has the right to say that about me as I wrote it which means I have invited judgement. If you put yourself out there in the open you are allowing others to be able to pass their opinion on who you are, what you do and what you say. Someone does not need to be more "successful" than another person to speak about them.

What is success anyway? My greatest achievement is raising three kids who are turning out to be much better humans, with more intelligence, direction, compassion and common sense than I ever had. The rest, sports, business, money etc is all bollox

And to say that Bellew is more successful than anyone just because he competes at a half decent level in one marginal sport is the biggest load of bollox of all.

I wonder if Bellew wasnt so highly strung,he would get more respect from fans,i dont think anyone doubts he's a good boxer but when you talk like he does, you leave yourself open to critisism from fans after even 1 measured performance, there was nothing wrong with how he boxed in the McKenzie rematch,it was clever boxing and correct but fans expect warrior mode full time every fight

If Tony was a run of the mill personality,he would get the same praise as Barker,Cleverly,Macklin and all the other good honest pros but he talks a great game and also has been in some great fights with last round KO's,multiple knockdowns etc but people like to pick out the less dramatic performances

It is though his own making, because if your gonna promise so much you have to go for the KO and cant be content to go for decisions despite there being nowt wrong with picking up points

Bellew just has to calm down and do his talking in the ring, boxings a "business" and im sure his mouth has made him a few more £££ but its also lost him a lot more fans,it all depends how he wants to be remembered,it'd be a shame if he was to be remebered as a mouth piece who didnt deliver in the ring which just isnt true

So let me get this straight

A man who lifts weights and is not even British level by the way   :OhYes: :OhYes: is more successfull and fitter than a world level fighter who is a 3x ABA champion, a multi nations champion, a four nations champion, a joint record holder for 3 consecutive heavyweight ABA championships in a row, a British champion a commonwealth champion a 2 time world title challenger, ?????????????????

U sound like an absolute fking idiot!!!!!! How on earth can u compare them dumb ass????????
You come on bragging about how u was fitter and and more succesful and that couldn't be further from the truth if u tried

Wow oh wow comparing that achievement to bellews achievements,

You then say u have 3 kids and bring them up on your own, bellew also has 3 children and is a proud father too, you say u own a few news agents as tho your bill gates, what do u assume bellew does outside of boxing? You havnt got a clue about bellews businesses outside of boxing or his work for sky and you try to act like your some great human!

The fact of the matter and it is a 100% fact is you do a bit of body building and u have won f all in your sport you say your fitter   no body builder in the world is fitter than any boxer u fool!

Seriously go away and look in the mirror and have a long hard talk with yourself! You came on here putting down a boxer when you couldn't dream of being at the same level has him in your own sport/field,

No one in the entire planet bar u would say your are fitter or are more succesful than a pro boxer who has had world title opportunities and countless amateur titles

Keep up the posts tho mate I find you really really amusing

Oh and by the way u asked what I do, well I am a manager at a company with well over 6000 employees, I am also about to get my 3rd promotion so I am doing quiet well, I will not go into detail about the company I work for on here but and its a huge manufacturing brand and best in class! but we are not talking about me are we I have not once compared myself to anyone or anything,

We are talking about some dumbass who comes on saying he is more succesful than a world level fighter and he hasn't even ever won a thing, what a 24 carrot idiot.

Come back on in a few years if you ever win a thing but looking by the age of you it looks like your past your best now so I doubt you will ever do anything in your respective sport.

The idea that people who 'aren't as good' as these type of overhyped sportsmen that spew bollocks on a regular basis shouldn't have an opinion is total crap and I can never get my head round it when people come out with that line.... We are consumers, so have a right to voice our opinion and demand value for money. Its not even a concept in other consumer driven environments but in sports we are somehow supposed to not have an opinion because we haven't achieved as much. Imagine applying that logic to anything else. You go buy a new Mercedes and find you can't get it out of second gear and when you take it back to the garage they looked you up and down and say "I bet you couldn't build that engine any better anyway mate, you shouldn't complain so much".... And the reality is Bellew is more Morris minor than he is Mercedes, but I still want value for money when I'm shelling out.

Why are you so upset? Have you ever touched Tony Bellend? I bet you really want to. Shouting and sweating anytime someone has anything remotely negative to say about your hero makes you look really stupid.

So does saying Tony is 'world level'.

I think the issue here is that 'success' is a very subjective definition in the first place, it would be wrong to suggest that a person who owns a successful regional newspaper is unsuccessful but for me, a good solid definition of success is if one is happy and content - if one is, then they are successful in my opinion - even if they are on the bins - if they can get a good sleep at night and be content with the world around them then that is success. Robin Williams - for all his oscars and golden globe awards - would have happily swapped them for contentment of mind.

Can you compare Tony Bellew - who is a success in his field - as you pointed out and are absolutely correct, to a man who has made his name by owning a succesful regional newspaper? I think they cannot be compared except to say that both me are success stories in regards achivements but the most successful people are the ones who are happy on the inside and out. I'm a big Bellew fan - he wears his heart on his sleeve which sometimes makes him look stupid but I sort of like him for that.

Plus met him a few times and seems a bang on proper nice fella.

However some of the stuff he's come out with lately (seemingly since he's been with Fast car) has put me off him a little, and he does seem to be looking like its getting to him this fight and the extensive promotional work he's got to do. I hope i'm wrong though as I'll be there saturday and 100% want him to win.

To be fair, you are the one who threw out 'Tony Bellew is more successful than anyone on here and their whole family tree' And that made me laugh, so you got some responses from it back which you must have expected.

Some people value certain pursuits higher than others - there are a lot of people who would be suitably unimpressed with what Tony Bellew has done up until now (not me by the way but I cannot speak for everybody) depending on their views towards boxing.

So, there will be a segment of mankind who would think Tobyh5 is more successful than Tony Bellew - owning a newspaper is no small thing, you admit that surely?
