MGM marbella bad night

Post by denzil1970 »

I watched the sky show and with Fitzgerald , Macklin and Geraghty all beaten they just seem to be getting bad luck after bad luck .
Macklin as given us some great nights and wish him all the best if he retires but he does look battle tired .

Seamus seems knowledgable but to be the lead coach at his age at a massive gym, would
Be difficult, I would of hoped he's been round other gyms and learnt his trade .??

He's probably been around with Matthew, but Matthew choosing to go to Manchester with Joe Gallagher, rather than staying in Marbella with his brother, suggests to me that he didn't entirely trust him as a trainer.

I'm not sure people properly understand the set-up at MGM. It's a large gym that is used by numerous trainers and fighters. Seamus isn't like some Messianic cult leader, he's a young trainer looking after a handful of fighters, others do their own thing, e.g. he doesn't sit Jimmy Tibbs down each week to carry out job appraisals and give pep talks about how he is doing with BJS.

Yes but the more IFL interviews and such like show him as being the leader, especially as its called macklins gym. .people would think that if there not well up with the scene

I get what you mean. I only watch the odd IFL video and haven't see MGM on there so can't really comment beyond that.
