He was probably talking about the JLC knockdown of Gans.

Gans is probably still whining about it to his opponents during his bouts. Asking them to "quit hitting so hard".

Only a diehard parasite like you could dare claim Joe Gans was 'whining'. I can't wait to have the Old Master put your guys to sleep again. I do think Joe Gans draws (robberies) on his record may hurt him in close fights in the sim. He deserved both of those draws as victories and you both know it.
