I think Fury is too big and to immobile to stay in there long with Wlad. That right hand just won't be able to miss. I'd be very surprised if it went past three rounds.

Having a good chin IS NOT about staying on your feet or getting knocked down, its about how fast you are able to recover fast if your caught with a good shot, regardless if your knocked down or not.

Tysons knockdowns have been mostly down to balance issues (he is 6ft 9), and every time Fury has been knocked down his recovery time has been superb! Unlike Price, Chisora and Haye!

How easily someone is hurt is an aspect of how good their chin is. Fury was knocked down hard by non-punchers in Cunningham and Pajkic, and since those fighters tend not to knock opponents down like that Fury being dropped as he was is evidence of durability issues in my view. Sure, he recovered fairly well, but would he be able to do the same against heavyweights with decent or even good power who would likely be able to hurt him more seriously?

I would have to agree - his skillset is extremely poor.

No I won't - because Chisora is nowhere near as good as Wlad, and fights nothing like him. Chisora is slow, ponderous, and has little power.

I consider them hard knockdowns (especially the one against Cunningham) because of how forcefully he seemed to fall. I also thought he was clearly still hurt upon rising, although he managed to hurt Pajkic shortly after, which took a lot of the pressure off him and reduced the amount of blows he took. Against Cunningham he became passive for a sustained period and to me his reactions suggested that he was still hurt for a while after the fall to the canvas.

Admittedly these weren't crushing knockdowns, but I think they raise durability issues given Cunningham and Pajkic's relative lack of power, and considering this and Fury's mediocre defense I think it's fair for others to believe that Wlad would easily hurt him.

Couple that with his willingness to get involved and ( what I believe to be ) a pretty questionable chin ( hence why he has yet to face anyone who can 'bang' ) and its a recipe for disaster against Wlad. Thats why I voted Wlad within 1-4.

Pulev is much better than Fury and he got out of round 1 cause Wlad let him, and Tony Weeks to an extent, some ref's probably would've stopped it, he was badly hurt.

He did look incredibly unsteady - if the ref had jumped in, I wouldn't have had much complaint.

Pulev would be a very difficult fight for Fury. I would like to see it after he beats Chisora. Be a great warm up for Wlad although I think Pulev would probably beat him.

Fury has a long history of ducking threats and going down versus weak punchers. He hasn't the talent or experience to handle Wlad K, and will be a very large deer in headlights on the night. Very much like Pulev, though without Pulev's sturdier chin.

Wlad would slaughter Fury on the evidence of Saturday night. I think people are underestimating how good a display and a win that was from Wlad. He utterly destroyed the second best heavyweight in the division.
