I went down the fights on Friday and Sammy "the Who-Can Mexican" Vasquez continues to amaze me. I love this kid. He is the All American ass kicker. He steamrolled some 21-1 Panamanian kid whose name I can't spell and if I tried u wise asses would poke fun at me. I ain't good on this keyboard. Vasquez, his team and his army of fans are all first class. I ain't seen a freight train like this kid in ages. If he ain't a world champ by 2016, I'll sh&t a brick.
This iron mike productions puts on a helluva show. Good fights and no creampuff matches.
Salka-Clay: these hometown kids duked it out. Neither are world class. Ain't neither of them are gonna be world champs, but I got my $ worth. It was a bloodbath. Them Cutmen both sucked in both of them corners. Blood everywhere. Neither of them even went in the ring to take care of biz.
On the last show Vasquez got cut bad. Vasquez's Irish cut guy met him in the middle, walked him back and stopped the blood right away. On Fri, I thought the doc was gonna stop this fight cause all of the blood flowin from Clay....but he didn't. Salka bled like a stuck pig too..but not as bad as Clay. Salka outboxed the stalking little Clay and ran his little way to a decision. Both kids landed hard shots but Lighting Rod many more.
Some 7-0 Miami kid named Lubin fought some tough 20-5 Mexican. Mex put him on his ass in the 1st but he came back and got the W. Lubin is young and skilled. I want to see more of that kid as well as this other Tyson prospect named Galaraza. Galaraza is a beanpole but he can punch. He dropped some bastard with a straight right. Sammy's trainer was in Galarza and Lubin's corner. Whatever that kid is doing he is doing it right. His kids look great. Does anyone know if he's a Pittsburgh guy or is he down Miami? He's legit.
Go ahead now. Say how I overhype Vasquez. Well If any of yinz seen Vasquez fight you wouldn't be belittling me. He's the best welterweight fighter outta Pittsburgh since Zivic and Burley. He's way better than Spadafora and everyone in between. I thought Pittsburgh boxing was dead but this kid Vasquez is leading the change. A great high quality crowd was there. Mill hunks, doctors, families, you name it. Quality people all there to see Vasquez!
