Andre Dirrell has speed and reflexes to burn - but has no mental strength, zero courage or punch resistance.

He ducked out of the Abraham fight when he was coming on strong. Then to avoid Ward, he quit the super six as said his eyesight was blurry and had fits. The fight camp 360 team knew it was bullshit, they asked him which Dr signed him off on camera and he said "Dr ..Shaw ... Err Shaw High. Yes Dr Shaw High"

He bought himself an escalade and put a deposit down on a new house with his money, then sat around playing Madden all day on his Playstation, with his cousins, all giggling and farting like The Klumps.

Al Haymon started brokering fights - and Dirrell sacked him, saying his "Granpa will be my manager and negotiator"

Mayweather and Mayweather Sr wanted to train him, he went up and left after a few days.

Since Abraham he's fought 3 journeyman and Biosse, whom didn't go down but was stopped on his feet and protested.

In the few interviews he has done, just like his brother Anthony, he's said Froch must come to him for the rematch - that he'd never fight in England again. Despite a columbian ref and no English judges in his nottingham fight. A fight where he clinched of 60 times in five rounds shown on youtube.

Originally he broke onto television on the HBO after dark series, and was being groomed for the big shows - but his terrified performance against Curtis Stevens was heralded as one of the most boring spectacles in HBO boxing's history.

People were booing so loud and leaving , it was horrendous. All the boxing websites ran stories on it - and HBO dropped him as a showcase after that, because he stank so bad. He did that because Curtis carried power to knock out someone with a suspect chin.

He left a very bad taste at HBO, then an even worse one when he bailed from the super six. Ken Hershman who created the S6 is now at the healm HBO , but half his team still reside at Showtime still.

Andre has annoyed a lot of people with attitude, even turning down Lucian Bute because he didn't want to go to canada - that Bute had to come to him, a guy with no fans and no belt. He turned down that money for his family and children and an opportunity to win a world title - cos he was plain terrified and knew his demands would never be met and he'd not have to fight anyone.

He is an excuse merchant, not a hungry warrior.

Since 2009 Carl has fought Kessler (twice) Groves (twice) Johnson, Mack, Andre Ward, Lucian Bute and Abraham.

He travelled to Herning, America twice and Iceland amongst those fights. Because he's got balls- and now he's got millions too.

In closing, Dirrell has no appetite for fighting, working or travelling - he's a boxing-equivalent to a man claiming benefits with no intention of finding work.

Correction. He never fought in Iceland. He fought in Finland. You either go accurate or don`t go at all...

I haven't seen his two most recent fights, but if Andre Dirrell gets back to his best, then it spells trouble for DeGale Groves and could shake up the Super Middleweight Division.

Direll vsDeGale would be a good fight to watch for the vacant IBF Title. But I'd have to favour a in-his-prime Dirrell.

DeGale can beat him. Won't be easy but he shouldn't be worried about a fight like this. He should welcome it.

@Gomez; spot on.

Andre Dirrell has all the talent and none of the heart. Abraham actually floored him too but for some reason it wasn't counted. I so wish Abraham hadn't hit him when he was down; I believe he would have gone to to get the stoppage. Dirrell was gassing was after running the equivalent of a marathon and was rapidly falling apart in that fight.

And I don't see what's wrong with Dirrell wanting a rematch with Froch in the US if Froch wants Ward to come here to fight him. And I don't really see the need for the stuff about Froch at the end, when the whole post was about Dirrell, if it was about their fight I could understand, but that was mentioned earlier on.

Yeah I remeber fight camp 360 when he was due to fight ward, where he said if they want the fight to take place they needed to pay him more money than previously agreed when he signed on for the super 6. Then when his demands were not met he suddenly became injuried and pulled out the tournament. He knew ward would beat him and I believe he faked the Abraham fight. He is also one of the few fighters on the planet who could make a froch fight boring

It wasn't at the end, it was to elaborate what both have done since they met in 2009.

Dirrell has done nothing but avoid opportunities, because he hasn't the guts to fight a genuine 168 fighter, he's more content to bitch from the sidelines whilst real fighters step in the ring with each other. He tried it once, was terrified and now only fights people he knows he can take on.

TV won't get behind him. He'll worm out when the title fight is there to be made. As usual.

Still think he could beat Degale though and would make him a favourite actually.

I thought Froch won that fight by a point at the time and I didn't even like Froch that much back then. Watched it again a little while ago and stand by that score. If you give Dirrell back the point he got docked by the ref it's a draw.

It is not a robbery

Totally agree - Dirrell has talent in spades, but no appetite for the fight business - he's already made a fair bit of money, and is only interested in fighting for a big payday in his own back yard. He has punked out in his two biggest fights - the funny thing is, had he shown just a little balls against Froch, he probably could have won it, because he was the one landing the harder shots, but he was terrified Froch would kick his arse if he engaged at all with him, even a little bit. Dirrell is a joke.

I think Dirrell has been flattened in the gym or somewhere, because he has a bad allergy against punchers.

Watch this from 44.00 onwards, Harold Lederman says this "is the worst fight I've ever seen in my life" - and the crowd are booing from the 2nd round. I've never seen boos that soon. When he gets his hand lifted at the end, the crowd boo like mad.

I'm convinced Groves would clean KO him.

They actually sparred Groves ahead of the Degale fight I believe.
