I wouldn't have watched this if it was free admittance and on at the hall across from my house.

I heard people laughing about this fight on the radio. Thankfully I never saw it for myself.
Their combined ages come to 89. Rivers is 47

was on fox, a decent fight. The girls put on a great effort.
Vizaniari was as you would expect given the height and weight details. There were parts where I thought she was getting her ears boxed off but then she would unleash some power shots.

The people who were laughing about the fight on radio wouldn't have the ticker to step into the ring with either of these determined lasses.
It was an enjoyable and hard fight and was only stopped with seconds left in the last round. They put on a better display than some of the recent efforts by the heavyweight men

Lisa Vizaniari has represented Australia as a discus thrower from 1990 to 2000 at Commonwealth and Olympic games
World Champs. and Goodwill Games. She has stated that she would like to fight for a World HW title.
47 yr old Kathy Rivers runs her own gym in Florida.
If the fight had been at set weights Rivers would have dominated. She was ahead on two cards when the fight was stopped
in the last 10 seconds. Rivers was trapped on the ropes unable to respond to a barrage of Vizaniari's punches.
She wasn't too happy with the stoppage.
It wasn't pretty but both girls showed a ton of heart.

Watch this fight on fox Vizariani on my card had to have a ko to win Rivers came to fight a fitness fanatic that has her own gym. Vizariani must train on pies and pizza. Sorry but I was at ring side the previous time Vizianari fought she stopped the other girl that night, ( so be it ) but once she got the mik in her hand the disrespect she showed the other fighter was wofull. The only cheers she got was from the gay femails in the crowd.

Re: did anyone see this? would love to hear about it.
find it puzzling that anyone would laugh at two boxers going in the ring and putting everything on the line? whether its a world title fight (as this was) or two guys on a 3 round debut. they certainly doent deserve to be ridiculed, and anyone in boxing would (should) know and respect this.
but anyway, it was a back and forth fight. lisa needed a 10-8 coming into tenth, she got it with the knockdown but then went the extra and got the KO with 2 seconds to go winning the vacant WIBA heavyweight title.

Of coarse its laughable. A 5 ft 8 269lb heavyweight fights a 180lb 47 year old who hasn't fought for 7 years, and only won once in 11 years for a world title. What's not to laugh at? The Aussie lady has only beaten debutants and the same girl 3 times, how did she get a world title shot? Comical. Duco events in New Zealand must be rubbing there hands together they love conning the public with this novelty sh1t, the rematch will happen at a show near me ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

womens boxing aint exactly full of chances and opportunities mate. its a lot different to mens boxing with regards to fighting for titles.
australia has 11 active female boxers in total
