I suspect that he'll win easily, regardless of how he compares to his opponent.

I would rather he fights once at 62 and packs him in than to see Danny Williams continue to get in the ring.

They had to do SOMETHING to liven up a card where Provodnikov is fighting a thoroughly washed-up, 40-year-old Jose Luis Castillo!!
Jesus, Castillo is still fighting!?

Funny Mickey Rourke story I was reading about the other day.

In the 1980's Rourke visited Carlos Monzon in prison, he was looking to do a movie or something and got Monzon to do some sparring, must have taken some liberty's because Monzon knocked him cold!

Thank god it isn't the guy on the left!!

I still think there's a much better chance that JLC gets seriously hurt than Rourke.

Is the guy on the left Alex Povertkin?

Rourke is the Rocky Marciano / Joe Calzaghe / Ricardo Lopez of Hollywood.

A 61/62 year old shouldnt be boxing professionally. Especially against a 29 yr old even if he is totally shite.

The reason Rourke's face is so f'd up is the botched plastic surgery he got to correct the damage done by his first ring career.

Shame. In the late 80s he was a good looking guy and a promising young actor. Then he started doing straight to video crap and deluded himself into thinking he could box professionally. Even sparred many rounds with a young James Toney, getting his nose broken as a result. Must be a little nutty.
