He's the best available contender, so there's not much to complain about.

I'd have liked to have seen Jennings have another one or two top 30 level opponents first though.

A top 30 opponent would prepare him for Wladimir?

If Jennings fights Wlad I assume he is no longer the mandatory for Wilder-Stiverne winner.

if Jennings was European he'd be ridiculed a BUM.
As a WLad fan , decent choice he has a victory over Szpilka
Jennings....don't think we know how good he is yet as not faced alot of quality opponents so could be dangerous. He will not KO wlad , doesn't have a high Ko ratio but i think will be on the back foot like most contenders (unlike pulev). He will use his long reach on the back foot which means WLAD may have to go looking for him.

I see WLAD hopefully testing Jennings chin anf hopefully KO'ing him. I don't think it will be exciting fight and think Jennings may make it boring (like vs perez)
I dont see Jennings beating the likes of Povetkin, Pulev, Haye etc, but he is undefeated and makes a "nice scalp" for wladimir.

I got a feeling it may end up like Kevin Johnson vs Vitali Klitschko. 120-108

Jennings is a very nice, intelligent boxer. fast. not very tall but with loooong arms

id def like to see him fight someone top ranked before....but the game isn't like that anymore.

I like him aswell, but he didn't look too good against Perez. On the other side, Wlad looked the best since 2010/2011 against Pulev. How are the odds of Klitschko losing to a boxer without power? Purrity has 31 wins, 27 KO's. Brewster had 29 wins & 27 KO's at the time he fought him. Sanders (R.I.P. the Sniper) had 42 wins, 31 KO's...

Jennings has 10 knockouts, and average power at most. He's not going to KO Wlad, never. He would need a hundred lucky punches, and IF he's going 12 rounds with him, would he win any? As i said, i like Jennings, but i'd rather see Wlad vs Wilder, Stiverne or Browne. They have atleast some power for the upset.

Jennings overall speed and defense will keep him afloat for maybe 7-8 rounds.

good post, dont worry hopefully stiverne/wilder fight happend and we have a clear winner.
as for browne, moment he really steps up in class he will be found out

browne is on level of Gjerjaj, right now. I seriously dont see browne going past people like perez, wach, chisora, malik scott, takam or jennings

Jennings makes a nice undefeated W for Wlad, and he did TKO szpilka (albeit a crazy out of shape indisciplined one)

I would have preferred Glazkov or the Fury/Chisora winner get Wlad while Jennings gets another fight or two in, but I guess this acceptable. Definitely a big step over Pianeta/Leapai/Wach.

Hell no, Wach is junk. Jennings would win a very wide decision.

Decent fight. Glazkov probably wins since Cunningham is undersized and slowing down with age.

Wlad vs Jennings sounds good to me. I really like Jennings, but I don't see how Klitschko could lose this fight.
I'd go with Wlad by mid round TKO.

I'm also a Cunningham fan (hard not to root for him), and would like him to pull off an upset over Glazkov.
Should be a good fight.

If Stiverne defeats Wilder, Don King will probably not let him fight Klitschko.

Glazkov is so raw are you kidding me. He only fought one 12 rounder and went full 10 rounds 4 times. Klitschko destroys him in height and reach. Plus Glazkov has looked average against some really weak opponents. He should at least fight Malik Scott again and beat him. Then maybe he deserves a fight. A washed up Adamek UD wasn't really that impressive to me.

Not sure if you're talking to me, but I was being sarcastic about being a Glazkov fan. :)
I've never even seen him fight.

I'm happy for Jennings getting his chance at Wlad...but I think he would have a much, much better chance against the Stiverne-Wilder winner.

Oops, I messed up the quotes sorry about that.

Jennings' defense may keep him upright for awhile, but this should end like most other Klitschko's bouts.
