Slightly worrying to think this might be the best fight of the night :-)
As for the fight, yeah and to think this is PPV too. :P
Re: The official Cleverly v Bellew in play discussion thread
Is AJ next? I suspect he'll win in the first like Meehan and Teper did.

No chance of me staying up for Pacquiao after this, I'm starting to fall asleep.Boxerbeetle wrote:This is such a long, over-blown card...I'd be furious if I'd paid PPV for it. It's boring enough on a free stream.

Good finish from Groves but he was poor tonight,Douglin put a lot in and tired,2 cracking right hands that George decked him with originally
Did anyone see Howard Foster being restrained from security trying to invade the ring after Victor Loughlin allowed it to continue after first KD?

You need to get the fvck out of here with that garbage, with all due respect. Groves seems to have lost confidence. There's a strange look in his eye. It's like he is still buzzed from that Froch KO

Both Joshua and Sprott will need to try very hard to make it last past 1st round.

I also saw that Christy Martin Ko some useless woman (Bethany something?) in a round on some big Don King bill. It turned my stomach!

Think George is just a bit deflated after the Froch loss, and has trouble getting up for these routine run-of-the-mill fights.
I'd say no way the Froch fight has damaged him: he didn't take heavy punishment, apart from a few seconds in each fight, his reflexes and all the rest of it should be back 100% when he's motivated against a world champ.
DeGale looked terrific, shame about the amateur stoppage - I'd make him favourite over GG if they meet again....

Froch won't fight either, that's bollocks IMO and just a move to get Degale off his back now.clopixolacuphase wrote:Froch saying he'll fight the winner of Degale Groves 2
