What an absolute non event tonight has been and i knew it would be too but the soft c**t i am still bought it anyway.

That was terrible. They were both awful. He must have had a hand injury and just went through with it for the cash. No other possible reason as to why he never threw it.

Early stoppage as well with Periban.

I paid for the PPV then lost the signal. I got a great Stream from thr guys on here though. If all the streams are that quality I'll never buy PPV again.

Bellew (fat) beat a (one handed) Cleverly, All for £16, I give up, This show was three shows crammed into one, with two blank weekends in-between, Eddie Hearn has always struggled to fulfil his contract with SKY, Purdey, Rose and others thrown to the lions, who will he sacrifice next for his PPV obligation.

I just can't see how you could score it by 9 rounds to Bellew. Cleverly didn't land much other than jabs, but apart from the last 4 rounds, Bellew hardly landed anything, even in 9 and 12 he didn't land much. Cleverly's defence alone won him rounds for me.[/quote]
Just the lack of anything but a poor pawing jab swayed me,i was impressed with Cleverly's defence as i said but as the first 8 rounds were so similar i suppose thats why my card is wide then with Bellews strong finish with Nathans workrate dropped to zero cemented it

Preferred Cleverly's jab to Bellew landing nothing. Even in the last 4 rounds when Bellew supposedly came on strong I had Cleverly winning 2 of them, covered up well on the ropes and landed some good counters, Bellew wasn't landing anything clean, but Halling and Watt were giving him the rounds purely because he showed some attacking intent IMO, rather than him actually punching Cleverly.[/quote]

Two average Cruisers at light heavy 1 was a overweight one and the other was a light heavy punch bag for the last 5 rounds of the fight do we really want to see another boring slug ??? Not for me

Any word on what went wrong with Cleverlys right hand?

Apparently Sky's reporter went into the Cleverly's changing room backstage and they reported no problem with hand..... Nobody seemed to believe it though.

If there really was no problem with his right hand he needs to retire for his own safety.

I didn't think the night was that bad. I thought the McDonnell fight was decent until the strange pull out. It was competitive.

I thought Quiggs fight was entertaining. The lad was game as you like.

Callum Smith went 12 for the first time and looked excellent doing so.

Groves has been cobra'd. Degale looked very aggressive, shame the stoppage was premature.

We all knew AJ would do that.

Meh, bellew vs clev was a let down.

Should it have been PPV? Not really.

Was it better than watching im a celebrity? Absolutely.

Last night was a waste of 4/5 hours of my life I will not ever get back. I hope the PPV figures are rotten. its what they deserve for that farce last night.

Great nights boxing from a fans point of view. Jamie was in a great fight and sets the Kameda fight up nicely. Callum smith looks the real deal and had a few more gears to go through if needed, Callum is going to be a world title fighter next year and hopefully gets a top fight.

Brad Saunders looked sloppy, nerves and trying to hard, has a bright future. Scott Quigg really needs to be fighting Frampton Rigondeaux or Santa Cruz next. I really think all 3 beat him, last night he looked laboured and struggled to get that kid out of there, really like Quigg but needs to up the level of opposition soon,

DeGale looked class in what was a seriously dangerous fight, Periban didn't looked happy from the first bell. Groves struggled again but got the job done but he needs to leave Carl alone at this stage he is starting to make a fool of himself. Don't see DeGale Groves paths crossing as Eddie seems to have a direction to a world title fight, don't see Groves fighting him in 2015 unless DeGale loses his shot.

AJ was predictable last night but lads this guy is the real deal and very special, big year next year and 2016 he will fight for World Title, great boxer and love his attitude to boxing.

Cleverly was injured it was crystal clear something was up, fight was a big let down, not sure where Nathan goes from here, he seems to past his best and heart is not in it. Tony will get a shot in 2015 but needs to fight a lot better if he aspires to become champion of the world. Very few Cruiserweights would struggle with Tony, plenty of them at world level will KO him no problem.

Overall enjoyed the nights boxing, was not PPV but it is what it is.

I thought Hearn looked really embarrassed in his ifl video after the show, think he knew it was a poor show for PPV, said the production was really good about 4 times, not sure wat that had to do with it. Im not sure what everybody really expected from a night of no 50/50s apart from the main event which let face it were never ppv fighters and never will be.

I would of thought they'd made top money from it, I bet alot of people got sucked in by the hype and advertising of sky. Just goes to show once again the abosulute greed of sky in general.

Hearn will learn from that though I would of thought and will make sure there the right fights for ppv in the future.

Last night was NOT a great night of boxing.

Predictable results for pretty much every fight with the exception of the main event, which was massively disappointing and never worthy of headlining a ppv bill.

Utter garbage. Crap fight. Both realy poor. Bellew is probably going to be unbearable now.
The missus had overheard an IFL TV interview I was watching with Bellew and came into say "I don't know who that scouse t*** is but I hope he gets knocked out!".

Well, he didn't get knocked out but on that performance and previous ones...At least he will never win a world title.

Yes I thought he looked pretty bad reminded me of the Ricky Hatton comeback fight for some reason? The guy was a bit tricky but he should be getting rid of them types of opponents without to much trouble really?

Thank you to everyone who's posted, I didn't buy and didn't stream; I was worried I was doing the right thing but reading this thread I feel vindicated and somehow wise and sage like.

(I'm gutted as well that it weren't a good bout, 17 quid is a lot for a washout).
