Bizzarre anyonymous email message
Just found this in my inbox from god knows who, was sent from a BT payphone to my email address which is listed here. I can only assume someone has tracked my email which is listed here.
"You really are a moron and a vicious gossip, you would not last 10 seconds in the ring."
Just wondered if anyone had the decency to actually own up to this anonymous message.
At least I have the bollocks to use my real name on here, and link it to my email.
As far as I am aware, I don't recally spreading any vicious gossip about any fighters, aside from the speculation regarding Vitali Klitchsko's dramatic weight loss recently. I find it unlikely Vitali is emailing me from a callbox however.
As for lasting 10 seconds in the ring, I'm not a fighter, so it's not really an issue.

re
It must be someone that you proved wrong at some time, or another. Funny, these jerk-offs who do things of this nature must think that petty insults really upsets people. Personally, I get a chuckle out of such things because if someone has went through the special trouble to send me an abusive e-mail then I must have really made the person look stupid, but as I'm sure you expect, it's doubtful if anyone would own up to it!

Why didn't they just make up a yahoo email to mail u? Very strange, hardly an insult really, how does he know you wouldn't last 10secs in the ring - you may be Britians next HW World Champ for all he knows....................GO ON AUDLEY
Seriously throw down the a challenge and say you'll spar a few rounds with whoever mailed you - make them feel like a dick because they won't step up for it. They could have sent a more insulting or threatening letter. Maybe its someone that knows you personally??? Sounds like the work of Lirva or boxingchat
From time to time I get the odd death threat also
Keyboard warriors
Some guy on here who was trying to sell DVD`s was about the best, he`d made a sick comment about Watson and McClellan and I`d urged people to read the comment before ordering from him
He loved that
He too was a keyboard warrior
He was probably about 14yrs old and didn`t have any friends to protect him from the local girls who pick on him
Don`t you just love em

Not me neither mate.
As someone else has pointed out though "Vicious gossip" is a bit well, naff as insults go, isn't it?
Kind of reminds me about when an ex-girlfriend of mine once got hold of my (then) new girlfriend's phone number and informed her that I was (and I quote) a "barely above average lay".
Which I was quite chuffed about, all things considered...
Anyway. No. No idea who mailed you. Strange people about...

Yeah, would it not have come with an adress, albeit a phonebox one, from which you could get the area or phone bt or something?Phoenix wrote:dont suppose u get a phone no or anything with the message? could trace it to an area code at least..
For what it's worth it wasn't me either. I may be sad, but I draw the line at bumbling about public telephones between xmas and New Year sending random e-mails to starngers

hahahahahah - "barely above average lay"?! Has to be about the weakest insult I can possibly envisage of an ex..Nels wrote:Not me neither mate.
