98-93 doesn't suggest anything particularly contentious. 8 rounds to Evans with two drawn I assume ?

How do they get 98-93 from a ten rounder btw if there were no knockouts? I've done all the perms and can't quite work it out .

I'm sure he had one taken off so would work out 3 rounds to ronnie 5 to craig, 2 drawn with a point off, ? Referee seemingly pushing ronnie off all the time, do these clowns realise that saps fighters energy, break the fighters up don't push them, end of the day it expierence for ronnie, he was against it from the start , a title fight for a fighter who can't make the weight, they must be dreaming, like craig as a fighter but needs to sort out the weight issue first

I'm sure 9-6 was weight limit from the start although they did try up it to which they refused which showed in how he struggled with weight, they changed it from an 8 to 10 rounder thoigh, no excuses on that part, think there angry about referee performance but hey what can they do, these idiots should not be pushing the fighters, taking a point off for accidental head clash, then 100% ronnie saying body shot in 10th to which ref let evens off the hook, he'll
Learn from it and come back stronger, he's still a novice in boxing and has had like 6 amateur fights, these guys been boxing since about 8 year old , he'll best evans in the rematch ha

Yeah new it was at 9st 6lbs I asked dave m. Just wondered how long a camp ronnie had and wen the fight was agreed. Evans mate on fb said craig had been messed around not sure wat the weight was going to be thru his camp. Surely he wud hav known b4 ronnie that's why he struggled to weigh in. Thought that was bullshit. The fight was on boxrec for close to a month

Soon as ronnie knew it was on boxrec so that be how long, they tried to bring ronnie up in weight, then tried to mess him about with the rounds too, not realising how fit ronnie is he can do 10 rounds comfortably, as I said ronnie isn't complaining, referee a joke and scorecards even worse but hey, what can you do

When we were first contacted about boxing Evans I was told that the weight was 9st 6lb, I wouldn't have accepted the fight with the weight any higher!! If Craig wants to be a Super Feather then he should have asked for the bout to be at 9st 4lb especially with it being a day before weigh in because it would have got him used to doing the weight for championship bouts. I was unaware about any changes they wanted to make but we would have declined them anyway, Ronnie makes the weight comfortably and i would have prepared for the fight to have been at 9st 4lb and Ronnie would have preferred that too.

About 2 weeks ago we were asked if we would do a 10 rounder because the Ormond vs Flannigan fight was being moved and we accepted the extra rounds right away. There was no messing around on our side and I'm sure that allegedly would have asked his fighter first about the weight and the extra rounds before approaching the opposition!! Imo Craig is looking for excuses on why he failed to shine but the truth is that Ronnie never let him into a rhythm to get his boxing off.

The scoring was a joke and I told the referee afterwards that he was a disgrace, i saw the fight as close and i wouldn't argue about Craig getting the win because of the home fighter status but 5 round difference was a joke and imo they would have had no complaints if it had gone to Ronnie by a round or two. We spoke to both Craig and Tony Borg and they both like the idea of a rematch and that would be the fair thing to do, get 3 judges in 1 english, 1 Scottish and 1 Welsh and an English referee not Jeff Hinds!! Haha and let the 2 boys sort it out properly and fairly.

Ronnie is improving with every fight and he will get to where he wants to get because his desire is as strong as anyones I have seen, there was only one person in the ring after six rounds who wanted to be in the ring last night and that was Ronnie.

The Weight was always 9st 6lbs and the weight was never attempted to be changed

The rounds were changed 3 weeks ago from 8 to 10 , it was felt it would mean more as a ten and the wages went up.

Nothing dodgy about the situation at all

I never heard about any weight change either but somebody posted about that earlier, think it was JamieM.

As far as I know everything was asked properly and agreed on both sides, so like you say nothing was dodgy. I just think Craig is looking for excuses about struggling with the weight and the performance on the night but he needs to look in the mirror when it comes to who is to blame for these things.

I never said anything regarding weight, to
My Knowledge it was always 9"6 but one of his camp said ronnie messed them about with the weight, I said to ronnie should have made him to 9"4, he wants a title at that weight then actually do the weight, but hey ronnie and Davie are in charge that's just me, ronnie has never failed his weight and is a true professional, as for 10 rounds was changed when ormond fight pulled off it pretty much? I amnt being disresctful to craig , great fighter and Havnt seen the fight, only what others have said, spoke to Ronnie about fight and got his opinion , he'll come back stronger and can hold his head up high as he's willing to fight them all, can't be said for other so called fighters :)

It was mentioned in one of your earlier posts mate but I was never made aware of a weight change from their camp, at the end of the day Craig will know why he messed the weight up and imo he will never make the 9st 4lb limit, he needs to stay at lightweight and build into it because he looked dead at 9st 6lb.

On facebook one of his friends accused Ronald of messing him about with the weight, obviously I don't know discussions but I'm guessing Tommy has been asked to change the weight and refused of course, there was no way you were allowing ronnie to go above 9"6 which ronnie said to me, they think it's sour grapes but never heard Ronald say a bad word, said he didn't agree with scores and point off and wasn't happy with referee shoving him but hey, he knows same as everyone he needs to be taking it out judges hands, he's getting better every fight and mixing it with good fighters, 12 months and he'll come back stronger, more fights, keep improving, a loss never done anyone any harm
