Tony Bellew vs Johnny Nelson?

Post by big lennox »

Bellew is in line to fight Huck, and so (it seems) is Nelson. How about a fight between these two, if they can't get Huck in the ring?

I think the whole Johnny Nelson comeback was a flash in the pan. I dont think it was ever going to happen and he certainly wont come back to fight anyone else other than Huck.

Based on Saturday I would actually, seriously, put a cheeky £20 on Nelson PTS.

but surely the WBO arnt so corrupt as to allow Johnny Nelson a free pass into their top 15? I think if Johnny want to fight Huck then he may need to take care of a ranked opponent (?Bellew) in maybe February/March 2015

Have a look at the Ingle gym on twitter - there's a video of Johnny back training.

Johnny Nelson should not be even thinking about a comeback.

Johnny Nelson has always looked in fantastic physical condition; I think he'd be able to spar hard for 12 rounds but what about his knee? I thought that was broken beyond repair?

I've not seen Bellew in his last bout yet, he wasn't that effective from some accounts but styles make fights, if the 2 were to box I'd watch it but not if it's ppv.

Johnny was boring at times, but he would beat Fatman Bellend with ease, even now.

I don't really buy into this Nelson-Huck gossip. Why would Nelson do it and why would the WBO sanction it. Did he not make similar noises about Haye a few years back? I don't remember that coming to anything.

I hadnt seen that video - It does look as if he is serious about it then. It all seems a little odd, Johnny looks great but I cant see him getting in the shape needed to be able to box again, not at the level he is talking about.

It's not a wind up it's genuine and for the record Huck wants it.
He's out of contract 31 December 2014 and has formed his own Promotion for 2015.
If the WBO don't sanction it doesnt mean a none title fight can't happen.
The Germans love Johnny.
The fans want it over there so why not ?

Johnny is already looking good in the gym and working hard - not that he ever stopped that much.
Saturday was nothing more than a morale booster.
The Germans wont take to Bellew because of his antics.

Haven't you seen a thread with your name on it? A rational, intelligent person would realise this meant that they were making a fool of themselves. Instead you go on more threads posting hateful bullshit.

I can only conclude that you are indeed, Tony "Boomer" Bellew.
