We've done the Froch/Kessler, the Froch/groves twice, and also the haye/fury fight that was called off first time.

This time we had the choice of last Saturday or this Saturday, and peoples interest was all about the two fights headlining this Saturday so I'll have a housefull.

Looking forward to it.

Sounds good wish I knew just one person into boxing rather than just on me tod, the Mrs is out sat otherwise she would keep me company by going to sleep on other sofa !

I will be watching, looking forward to it. I love Tyson Fury because he's a plonker, should be a good fight with Chisora. Saunders vs Eubank could be a classic, it's impossible to know how good Eubank is at this stage.

I hope there are more cards with competitive match-ups like these ones. However the bouts unfold, I believe there are good reasons to think the fighters are evenly matched, and I'd rather watch a card composed of seemingly competitive fights than one stacked with standout talent on one side but significantly inferior talent on the other.

If it was just Del Boy and Fury I might have had to stay in, but it's actually the Eubanks-Saunders that's really sold it to my friends, some of whom have never been to a boxing match. These are proper fights though aren't they? It couldn't be as awful as last weekend and had the potential to be great. It'll also just be fun to watch as, although I would quite like chisora and Eubanks to win their respective fights, it's not like I'd be really upset either way. I'm just looking forward to seeing some good fights.

What a difference a week makes huh?!

I wonder if Hearn has any awareness of how awful his card was and how much that has been magnified by this coming weekends card? Not only was his card total dogshit they also charged us PPV for it.

Sky Sports costs £24.50 per month I believe and I personally only have it for boxing and occasional F1. I can still get F1 on the BBC so am paying £24.50 for their monthly boxing coverage which is shite then £17 extra for PPV on another shite card. Compare that to the tenner total per month from B O X nation. Sky want to look a lot closer at their chosen promoter and the crap he is dishing up.

Sounds great,i cant do the housefull's any more,not at mine and especially not elsewhere,i end up missing it plus i look like a twat sitting with my wee notepad scoring the fights

The problem is i like boxing more than anyone i pal about with,they like to see Hatton,Froch,Tyson etc and even when they do watch them fight they still barely watch a round and if im watching elsewhere i need to plead for them to keep the undercard on

I'm similar if I'm not going I prefer watching boxing on my own at home. Rarely watch it in the pub or with friends.

Its actually my birthday weekend Saturday which would usually mean a big session with the lads but I've told them I'm staying in.

Just hope not too many casuals have had their enthusiasm for Saturday's show dampened by that car crash of a show in Liverpool. It left a sour taste but this one should be the perfect pick-me-up. Can't wait.

Will also be sat on my tod watching it as none of my mates are into boxing. Tried to get them to come with me to the bill but I wanted decent seats which none of them were up for paying. Not really arsed about watching it alone. I actually quite enjoy watching boxing on my own due to the continual silly comments and questions by casuals. The only person I don't mind watching boxing with is my brother as he understands a fair bit about boxing, having grown up with me watching it extensively over the last 15 years.

Really hyped for this card; when was the last time Chisora or Fury were in a dull fight? Sykes - Walsh is a great appetizer too; failing to see how this can't be an all action affair. Might nip out for a quick bite to eat during Gavin-Skeete though

No. We already pay for Sky Sports, to pay again is being a complete mug. No more will I ever PPV. If everyone did the same they would soon stop asking people to.

Boxing is about the guys in the ring, not the hanger ons and suits sitting around it.

Yes I fully agree on that, I'm similar just worked it out in the last year I've been to shows promoted by Matchroom, Warren, PJ Rowson, Tommy Owens and EJKO (Errol Johnson).

It's a side to boxing that's creeping in, massive divide between so called Warren and Matchroom fans.

You see tweets about it all the time, how many boxers get tweeted telling them to go sign for MR in order to get progress? It's just a really shallow, uneducated and ill informed section of boxing fans.

I'll have to take you up on this one.

The history of this event should be considered here. Don't forget originally this was set for a venue too big for the type of crowd the main event was expected to pull in, and Eubank Saunders wasn't on the original bill. It didn't sell well because nobody was really that bothered about Chisora Fury 2. Chisora pulled out at the last minute and then Fury pulled out just after the weigh in with Ustinov. Pull outs and cancellations rightfully irk us that buy tickets for live cards.

Then, when it was re announced, you had to figure in that people were bummed out from the last fall through and will be less likely to part with their cash for a fight that isn't that exciting that might not even happen. The announcement of Saunders-Eubank sparked interest, but let's have it right nobody believed it would actually happen what with the Eubanks refusing to sign the contract for ages etc.

The 'mentality' of boxing fans is that we're not stupid. We've been mugged off enough now to know that for every Froch-Groves or Haye-Chisora there'll be a Haye-Fury or a PPV like last weekend. It's sold out now, but that's not because boxing fans don't want to see the card on Saturday, it's because we struggled to believe that they could deliver it. Now it looks like it's the real deal, obviously we're all pleased as punch and Fwank will have one over on Hearn. But for a long time Saturday night looked like it was probably just going to be another sh*t sandwich.

The 'mentality' of UK boxing fans is that we're some of the best fans in the world. We just don't like being taken the piss out of.
