Is this Saturday actually that good ?

Post by jessi »

I for one can't wait, but after watching the final press conference earlier I felt more unexcited than I did a couple of days ago.
Ok both Billy and Chris were missing and this must of been literally the 12th Tyson v Chisora press conference ( maybe even more if you include the first fight )
I'm hoping the Eubank fight is close like many think but no one would be surprised if Billy was levels above on the night.
The heavyweight clash was hardly mouthwatering the first time round, is it going to be any better this time ?
people can talk about Gavin v skeete being 50/50 all day long but it's not and it shouldn't be.
The sykes v Walsh really is 50/50 IMO and I'm looking forward to that one.
Frank W talks about the undercard on last weeks ppv show being one sided, but does anyone actually know who frank buglionli and mitchell smith are even facing ?
I'm really hoping it is a great night as I'm taking a night off work for it, but obviously there's no guarantee. Just hope it really spices up at the weigh-in tomorrow !!

Yes, it's an outstanding bill. What more do you want? Name me a better card with more even matches.

Buglioni-Andrew Robinson will be fun and Ahmet Patterson-Sullivan Mason is another good scrap. Add the top four fights and I'm more than happy

Don't understand the negativity of this post!! This is by far the best card in the UK this year in terms of genuine 50/50 fights

Its an excellent card. The best this year in terms of evenly matched fights.

Great card. Can`t wait for it. Have a crowd of about 7 coming round from earlydoors. Ruggers, footy and boxing all day long. Just how a saturday should be.

You hope the weigh in adds to the fight? Really?

That's a ridiculous statement in a boxing forum, mate. :shame:

This card is a beauty, a real good one that is why I love boxing. Compared to the utter shite matchroom serve up every month it is elevated as we are starved of good bills

Yep, top card, looking forward to it.

Maybe you're just suffering from press conference overload with Fury & Chisora - I get that part. I suspect they've both actually run out of things to say. Looking forward to the fight though.

Nothing can be worse than last Saturday. I still cannot believe that Hearn isn't accepting any criticism.

Anyway, Saturday is a top top bill: Fury v Chisora, despite the first cancellation, is an excellent fight. Could go either way (I’d go for Fury by KO).
Saunders v Eubank Jnr will probably be fight of the year. I really don’t know what the outcome will be. Saunders experience should prevail but Eubank’s confidence is definitely playing on his opponent.
Gavin v Skeete is a proper 50/50. Walsh and Buglioni are excellent fighters. I’m also interested in seeing what Eddie Chambers does after his poor performance last time round and Romeo Romaeo (sp?).

It seems unanimous in people's opinion, and I would like to just point out I wasn't moaning, I just fear the main two fights might not live up to what where expecting ! I'm probably just paranoid after last week. Enjoy the show, can't wait :TU:

Not sure I`d go as far as to call Buglioni excellent. He is game and is exciting fights but he is far from excellent for me.

Gavin v skeete is not a proper 50/50, it's 70/30 at best, Frankie will teach him a boxing lesson
