Re: Ruben Groenwald "Broken Dreams"
If the book is quoted verbatim on here, and the comments therein are judged to be defamatory - then repeating them is counted as distribution I believe. Redistribution of defamatory remarks, counts as publication of them.reggaereggae wrote:I think you're exaggerating.the defamation is, if it exists, at the door of the book. There is nothing defamatory about detailing the contents of the book I would suggest. Especially if the word 'allegedly' is used enough times! Just curious to know who he's accused and of what. Nothing wrong with that.

Perhaps one of our legal beagles on here could confirm that assertion - M'lud?

What if you read it and forget it straight away?
Re: Ruben Groenwald "Broken Dreams"
I think you can still be done for that. In a civil court anyway.palooka wrote:What if you read it and forget it straight away?
Re: Ruben Groenwald "Broken Dreams"

Re: Ruben Groenwald "Broken Dreams"
If someone posts some quotes from the book, and we read them..... Are we accessories to the crime? I don't want to get nicked for not reading Groenewald's biog, but for reading a quite of his book......

what if we buy the book for someone who doesn't give a toss and ask them to type it out backwards for us so we can read it in a mirror, like listening to a Judas Priest LP backwards.

Re: Ruben Groenwald "Broken Dreams"
Reading the synopsis on Amazon you would have to think so, Meldrick Taylor might just have edited this one.
olij999 wrote:
If it is anything like the Meldrick Taylor book, then it is a must-have for me. However, I can only find it on a Kindle edition - does anyone know if it will be released in hard copy?
Just checking I haven't missed something - are there hard copies of this book available yet? I can't find any, but am still keen to get one.
