Fury vs Chisora 2 card - RBR

Post by Boxerbeetle »

Evening all. Been looking forward to this card for ages.

Terrible 1st round for Sykes against Walsh, dropped & hurt.

Sykes getting battered but showing grit
20-17 Walsh, so far he's been too big and too strong

Sykes always good to watch, shame he lacks power & is a little bit fragile on the chin.

More of the same really, Sykes trying to get into rhythm but every time he has any success Walsh fires back with interest. Walsh is looking controlled but in some ways Sykes is making it easy for him so far 30-26

Round 4 the closest so far. Walsh started really well but Sykes had success in the final minute. Still a Walsh round though.

Nope, but I imagine they'll show a few of the earlier bouts between fights.

Round 6 was clearly the best Sykes round, Walsh slowing and being out worked.

Good analysis on Sykes. Exciting fighter but suffers from a lack of pop and a suspect jaw.

Walsh continues to land the better shots but he is being out worked. Round 7 could easily have gone either way depending on what you like.

For all the praise allegedly are giving Walsh I don't see him going as far as we had all hoped at one point

Great action to the bell there! Gum shield went flying, Walsh's power not having the effect it did early on, great round round 8.

Sykes definitely closing the gap but if the judges are seeing like Barry Jones then Walsh will take it wide.

Sykes definitely getting back into it, but can't see him winning unless Walsh gasses badly.

I can see Sykes maybe getting a knockdown if he doesn't punch himself out

Sykes looked all over the place for a moment in round 9, very clear Walsh round

Absolute shambles here at Excel where there are no toilets in the arena and the floor seats are absolute shite.

Was that kidology from Carrot Cruncher or are BN struggling a bit with the demand for last minute subs? I hope it's the latter, not because I want them to have dramas but because it means people are keen to watch boxing.

If only Sykes had power this would be very close but he can't get any respect from Walsh, very impressed with Walsh and his accurate shots. Got this Walsh only losing 1 round so far
