He made him look bad. Fury was pretty much punch perfect and the jab off the back foot completely dominated Chisora.

Christ, what a dismal fight - to be frank, I've found pretty much the entire bill disappointing - good fights on paper, but not one of them really caught fire.

Walsh-Sykes, Buglioni-Robinson and Saunders-Eubank Jr were all good to watch, Mitchell Smith, Gavin-Skeete and Chisora-Fury were all dull, although I did enjoy watching Gavin-Skeete, like a good technical battle. Mixed bag but on the whole I enjoyed the show, no all out wars, but that was always going to be unlikely, it's rare to see fights like that.

Joshua would outpoint Haye every round? What is this based on? and people really think Fury would beat Haye fighting like he did tonight? Im no Massive Haye fan, I'm just a boxing realist but at this exact moment in time based on what has happened in boxing history, Haye is Britains leading Heavyweight. Joshua or Fury might knock him out or beat him easily but until that happens there is no way you can say that with confidence

I don't want to be too critical.

But.

If youre 6ft and a bit and fighting in the heavyweight division today, you need to be trained to:

1.Close the distance effectively.
2.Be able to release your punches.
3. Keep up the sustained pressure.

Otherwise you are wasting your time.

I'm not reinventing the wheel here.

Rocky Marciano was acutely aware of this.
So was Joe Frazier.
And so was Mike Tyson.

Their disadvantages were much the same all things considered.
And they turned these disadvantages into advantages.

6ft1 is the new 5ft10.

I'd thought this was rather obvious, considering human and athlete development.

That, quite simply, was the difference.

It's a bit like people look good until they are in with Wlad and then they suddenly look poor. When you are being dominated by the other man who has silky skills and doesn't give you a way in you do tend to look poor because there's not a lot you can do.

Building your hopes up will only leave you disappointed. It was another fairly careful match up in Furys career. Chisora, along with all his previous opponents, cannot bang. Wlad will be the cash out, spectacular KO, winner for all involved fight, but it won't be all that competitive.

When Chisora tried to fight close Fury leaned on him. When he tried the over hand right Fury blocked it or moved out of the way. When it was at range Fury jabbed his face repeatedly from both the orthodox and southpaw stance. Total dominance.
