Look.... if anything (on paper at least) Chisora had EVERY advantage going into this contest... he was in the best shape of his career (possibly), he was far more active, he was a defending champion... Fury had been inactive more or less for two years, was a career high of 264 pounds, and he looked far and away more impressive TODAY than he ever has in his entire career... That's your analysis and your entitled to it. But I think that we all know that he'll never be a Floyd Patterson. He moves well for a big man, most of the giants that we've seen in heavyweight boxing are slow and cumbersome (Valuev) - at least Fury tries to work on it.edgey2009 wrote:Fury's size could be a factor? Chisora was ranked 6th in the world going into the fight tonight. And there's a compelling argument to be made for Fury getting a World Title shot before now... Wlad still holds two cards which are a) athleticism and b) experience over Fury and if you want another I'd say hand speed. I'd also say Wlad hits much harder and is much better defensively too. Fury has a good dig to the body that he uses well for a big man and plenty of heart, but I don't think he matches up with Wlad at all well. Wouldn't mind seeing the fight, because Fury will take it to Wlad. For the record I'm not knocking Fury even though I've openly said in the past he is poor and a bit of a dick. Right now I'd say Klitschko would win....I think Fury's come on leaps and bounds and is growing into his body, but I think he should bring a nutritionist on board who really knows what they're doing and can boost his stamina for a long, hard fight. Maybe...

Both displayed good sportsmanship. Saunders probably more so to be fair. Probably the solitude of moving to a rural location in a foreign country for months, away from family, employing top class sparring partners at huge expense, the nutrition, etc...
