BWH Rankings as of 29 November 2014:

Champion: Wladimir Klitschko
1. Alexander Povetkin
2. Tyson Fury
3. Bermane Stiverne
4. Kubrat Pulev
5. Dereck Chisora
6. Bryant Jennings
7. Vyacheslav Glazkov
8. Carlos Takam
9. Deontay Wilder
10. Tony Thompson
11. Steve Cunningham
12. Chris Arreola
13. Odlanier Solis
14. Artur Szpilka
15. Ruslan Chagaev

Topic A - How are the rankings affected by Tyson Fury's RTD10 win over Dereck Chisora?

My vote: Fury remains at #2, Chisora to #8.

Note: This topic is for voting on the rankings of Fury and Chisora. Posting your own Top 15 will not count as a vote. Please cast your vote in the manner than I have done above.

Fury just beat the #5 contender on here as voted by this group.
He did so by utter dominance and a shut out.Fought flawlessly and looked better than ever.
If that doesn't deserve a bump up to NUMBER 1 contender then nothing does.

Fury #1
Chisora #9

Fury remains at #2, Chisora to #6.

On paper, Fury just notched an amazing win. But in the course of doing so, he looked like he lacked handspeed, power, and knowledge of how to punch correctly. I can't move Chisora below #6, since I think he's better than Glazkov. On a related note, boxrec continue to overrate Glazkov, and it continues to disappoint me.

For me it goes like this;

Fury #1
Chisora #8

Fury moves to number one:
He beat the guy who is currently ranked 5th, a true top five fighter - surely that should be enough to move him up a single placing.
I would compare it to the recent repositioning of Povektin, when he recaptured the number one slot from Pulev last month by beating a lower-ranked fighter than Chisora.
Surely the same principle should take place for Tyson - in the interest of consistency of course.

Chisora slips to 8th.
I'd have Derek slip two places... Nothing too drastic, he lost to a fighter ranked higher than him - but still, a loss is a loss - and he should move down a couple.

I think that is fair and reasonable.

I agree with this statement... But what can we do? He keeps winning...

Fury remains at #2
Chisora out

Is time to rank new blood in our top 15. We have guys like Chisora or Glazkov that I doubt they are top 30, specially Glazkov.

They both belong in the top 15. No question.

Show your top 30 without those two. I bet it looks very stupid.

Glazkov struggled to beat Derrick Rossy and draw with Malik Scott. His only good win is a shot Adamek.

There is no reason for Povetkin and Pulev to be above Fury.

Fury remains at #2 (Takam's superiority over Chisora is all that is splitting them for me)
Chisora down to #11 (it was a very poor performance. I agree that Glazkov is overrated (I try voting him down every time to no avail) but I think the rest of the top ten and Cunningham should be ahead based on last night)

I'm not so sure, though I only have Povetkin above Fury, and Pulev below Fury.
With Povetkin I have him ahead based on his experience in world title fights, and I also believe he would beat Fury in a fight.

Pulev, I think, belongs below Fury until (and if) he can rebound from the beating Wlad gave him.
Povetkin came back fairly strong after Wlad beat him.

I will not take the time to nit pick your top 30 apart. It is just opinion that you and the rest of
us are entitled to.
But I will make one point. To even mention David Haye at this time who has not fought in 2 and a half years.
He is 34 and if you take out the Chisora win (sense you make the comment is only 23rd) Then Haye has not beaten a top 10 opponent sense he beat Ruiz in 2010.
David Haye though talented is far from a top heavyweight today.

Fury #2. He was looking good against chisora. Had him winning every round of that fight. Still behind Povetkin. H2H he would loose and Povetkin has better wins.

Chisora #8. I think Chisora was bit over rated before this fight. He is very one dimensional. If he cannot owerpower the opponent he will probably loose. Still solid top10 fighter and i give him good chance to win any B level opponent he fights.

I'm surprised some here didn't want Fury to be ranked above Klitschko. That was a dismal showing by Chisora. What does another win over the limited Chisora prove? Was that the future of heavyweight boxing we saw? Giants poking smaller flabby guys until the smaller guys quit? Talk about excitement!
