Nothing to argue there, Floyd lost that first fight but did win the rematch, honestly Pacquiao is the only fighter who has a chance at 147 because he is a SP, fast, has decent power, stays busy and uses odd angles.

No other fighter has a chance to beat him except maybe Thurman and that would only be if he caught Mayweather with a shot he just didn't see.

This isn’t a personal criticism of you, but merely a trend that I’ve noticed…

Why are people constantly discussing a fight that will never happen between an all-time-great that has his fights televised by Showtime, approaching the end of his career whilst rehydrating to 148lbs (Mayweather)… against a supremely talented, but somewhat untested, 173lb HBO-affiliated middleweight that has never defeated a top-tier top-three ranked world-class middleweight (GGG)? :o :??

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will never ever fight Gennady Golovkin… because Money May is not a middleweight... and there is no evidence that GGG is capable of shrinking down to a catch-weight of 152lbs or less! :OhYes:
SEE how much GEALE made GGG miss the short time their fight lasted made him look slow as a cruiser[ BUT I DO ADMIT he must punch like one] PACMAN CAN

Tim Bradley comes to mind, taking the thing from 147 down, then the fading Pacquiao followed by Danny Garcia.

Castillo already beat him. Floyd is a 46-1 fighter to me.

To be honest Mayweather and Pacquiao have pissed me off so much I couldn't give a f__k who they're fighting next.
I've been holding onto Mayweather and show him the respect because he is our No1, but these wanktop fights both of them have just make me cringe.
Ill watch them because I'm a die hard. no way do any of their fights truly excite me deep down ... I'm just going through the motions and entertaining myself.

What a joke and a stain on the sport of boxing they've become.

If this were Wheel Of Fortune, and the board said "_acquiao hid behind random blood testing", all three contestants would guess Mayweather for like three straight rounds before they started exploring other possibilities. Eventually they'd spin the wheel and say "I'd like a Y please?" Mayweather hid behind random blood testing and demanding a lion's share of the purse. Pacquiao hid behind requesting a fair purse and normal terms, then he hid behind agreeing to all of Mayweather's terms only to find Mayweather moving the goalposts. Pacquiao also hid behind repeatedly saying he wants to fight Mayweather, while Mayweather frustratedly tries to change the subject whenever anyone mentions Pacquiao. He'll gladly talk all day about fighters he can beat, but he can't talk about Pacquiao. He never accuses fighters he can beat of being on steroids, but he accuses Pacquiao. There's something about Pacquiao that puts him in a separate category from fighters that Mayweather knows he can beat.

No one. That isn't to say that there isn't going to be someone out there in two years time who may not stand a chance, and if Money is still fighting. It is more that Floyd won't fight them. He has fought the best out there in the past, but he has also taken a lot of fights that he knows he has won before it starts. Both Maidana fights, Guerrero, Ortiz, old Mosley, he is protecting that 0.

Floyd won't take the Pacquiao fight because he wants to seal his legacy by finishing unbeaten, and Pac Man provides too much of a risk to that. I think Floyd would win the fights, but it will never happen. I may take some flack for this, but Mayweather obviously has some small fear of Khan as well. The poll that Khan won was absolutely pointless, and I assume that FMJ thought that Maidana would win it. As I say, it is only a small fear.

I actually would love to watch him against Demetrius Andrade, but doubt that will happen.

Maybe Marquez is not retiring hoping that Floyd will fight him again using "he beat Manny, so he is more deserving" logic

100% fact, but I distinctly remember that when the facts were rolling in 4 years ago, you were completely denying their validity. So I can understand how in 2014 you would be ignorant of the facts of 2010 when, in 2010, you were also ignorant toward those same facts.

I don' t care what bull squirt anyone throws out there. The fight not happening is both Pac's and Floyd's fault.

If you asked me about 3 or 4 years the first name I would have said would have been Paul Williams, due to his height and reach advantages. Plus he is also a southpaw. But sadly fate took a twist and has took him out of the equation.

Now, the stand out names are Erislandy Lara with his footwork and counterpunching style. Keith Thurman with his power and desire to make a splash and like Lara is a Southpaw. And maybe Kell Brook.

How about this; either of you find a different timeline laying out the facts and I will read it. You apparently didn't read it or you would have seen that it has many links to other sites, not just its own. Or, you can just be the normal dumbasses of the forum and laugh...I'm fine with that too.

- Mosley at lightweight would have beaten him
- Paul Williams would have given him a great fight
- Kell Brook right now could beat him
- Pac of 2010 would have outpointed him
- At 154, GGG stops him

Right now, PBF refuses to face risks because he knows judges will use any close fight to rob him.
He will either get beat by father time, or his gangsta behaviour.

Who is he refusing to face in taking risks? He has moved up from 130 to face all of the best comp that was lined up for him.

Kell Brook beat a wild swinging Porter and now all of a sudden he can beat Floyd? lol
Paul Williams gives everyone a great fight but was soundly outboxed by Lara
Pac of 2010 could barely outpoint JMM
Who has 3G beaten that is anywhere near the level of Mayweather that proves he can not only beat Floyd, but KO him despite his great defense and track record of never having been KO'd??

Wow, some people really allow their dislike for the man to cloud their judgment but hey, it's your assessment.............so, whatever!! :KO:

He refused to give Khan a shot, because he feared his speed.

He refused to give a Khan a shot because Amir hasn't beaten anyone; he lost to Peterson and was KO'd by Garcia, that warrants a shot at Floyd??

You stating Brook can beat anyone to the punch is grounds for you stating Floyd is avoiding him??
