The 1st Minter fight was his last really strong performance. I scored it last yr for the 1st time, though I watched it live at the time, and had Vito winning by 2. Minter diced him up in the rematch though.

Please dont get abdelfadeeli involved in this thread!!

I would say to be fair to Antoufermo by the time he had got to Minter he had had a really tough career, with the way he fought including a bad loss to Mo hope at light middle so a couple of years I think would have made a big difference to him.

Same here. I wanna say I scored it 143-141 (8 rounds to 7, with one for knockdown) for Vito at the time and stuck to it when I watched it 20 years or so latter. If I remember correctly, that's the fight where the British judge scored it 14 rounds for Minter and was signaling Minter's corner between rounds.
Vito had had a hell of a tough career by the time of the Minter fight and had paper-thin skin around the eyes, which seem to start bleeding during the National Anthem. It was a good scrap. Unlike today, there were no cupcake title defenses for Vito: Hagler and Minter were the best contenders at that time.
