Channel 117 is Channel 4 on my Sky mate (don't ask, it's a Welsh thing...). What's the actual channel called that the boxing's on?

it appears to be called Made In Tyne & Wear. I only knew it existed myself in the last hour.. (117). There again I live in the north east, so I don't know if you'll get it outside that area.

Re: Boxing on now
Cheers, I'll stop looking for it then! Unsurprisingly I don't get Made in Tyne & Wear, but a new channel recently appeared on my Sky box - channel 134 is now Made in Cardiff. I guess there's been some sort of drive for regional programming or something...magwitch wrote:Boxerbeetle wrote:Channel 117 is Channel 4 on my Sky mate (don't ask, it's a Welsh thing...). Local TV channels were announced a while ago, seems they've just started to put them on the air. We've got one, due to launch next year, but for some reason we have to share it with the dump by the seaside.Boxerbeetle wrote:Cheers, I'll stop looking for it then! How much a month for this made in Tyne and Wear channel?
This is a great thread, I'll let the mrs keep Romeo and Juliet on I think.

Re: Boxing on now
If ever area is getting these localised channels wouldn't it be great to see local shows for each area televised on them.
Well done Made In Tyne and Wear
Also fairplay to OP he was only trying to tell us all that there was some unexpected boxing on

You can watch regional channels on SKY for UK regions you're not physically located in, they're just way up the EPG.REEVE wrote:Sorry lads didn't realise was just a local channel :/
Re: Boxing on now
Thats good I will have a look for the ones that actually show boxing unlike ours.. I was like the previous poster looking for the boxing from Sheffield on the Made in Leeds channel!orbtastic wrote:You can watch regional channels on SKY for UK regions you're not physically located in, they're just way up the EPG.REEVE wrote:Sorry lads didn't realise was just a local channel :/
