Different styles but see what you mean. Lee is more of a boxer by nature than Buglioni but gets hit a lot for someone that does 'box' versus brawling.

I don't know Franks history but for me, the problem he has is he's very textbook. Doesn't seem to have a natural style at all. Any trainer worth his salt would prepare a good fight plan against him.

Can't see him developing much further, but whilst we wait to see if the Collins' can do something with his head movement etc there's no harm in him holding his random belt and fighting guys of Robinson's level while selling a bucket of tickets, making exciting fights and with any luck progressing. Worst case scenario is that he doesnt develop, has a few more fights and loses. Not the end of the world. Seems a committed fella, so good luck to him.

Have to admit I'd rather watch Buglioni v Robinson again rather than Gavin-Skeete. That fight wasn't one for the 'purists' it was simply a case of Skeete not being willing to take a single risk all night. At least Buglioni brings some entertainment to the early part of a card.

Booth would probably be the best trainer for him.

Somebody that can hone his power & attacking speed, very good at picking the correct fights at the correct times. And has often created and implemented very good tactics to fighters i never considered to be defensively astute.

He looked surprised the other night that he was getting hit but he wasn't doing anything about it.

(Robinson is a decent fighter, I'd not seen him before, it'd be nice to think he can prosper on the back of that performance and move on and be better known).

Robinson would be a really good next fight for Eubank jr in an 8 rounder. Plus it would give the lad a chance to fight at his natural weight.

I didnt think id seen Robinson either before saturday until John Rawling mentioned he was the guy with the mad cauliflower ear swelling in his previous fight,cant remember who he fought but it was grotesque

I just see him ticking over for a couple of years! It's a guaranteed 1,000 tickets on any London show. 99% of his fans won't have a clue about the standard of opponent. Would be silly to match him tough, business wise. He'll be on a few quid, he's heavily sponsored too. Some of his fans are loaded.

It's gonna be difficult to keep him winning though. Every time Robinson threw the right cross over the jab he landed flush! Any opponent who saw that will have no problem. Apparently I'm the only person who enjoyed both the Skeete fight and the Buglioni fight. And I thought Skeete won.

I dont care what the critics say I like Buglioni. I thought the name of the game in pro boxing was bums on seats and excitement. It is hard for me to see the criticism when we you have just seen the Bellew/Cleverly fight. Buglioni brings fans and he brings excitement.

I never heard Buglioni claiming to be Sugar Ray Leonard. He is just a good pro, who comes to fight. Robinson was unbeaten and ambitious and also came for a scrap.

Agree with this. Frank seems to know exactly what he's got. Would watch him any day of the week, just think he could be more.
I've a bit of a soft spot for the Tibbs though but i wish he was back there.

A British title at some point, if he sticks at the game, is not out of the question for Buglioni. He hits hard, can box well and may be getting more battle hardened. He's does get caught a fair bit, but IMO took part in the best fight of the night on the bad blood show. That was a cracking contest.

If he's in the right place at the right time, I could definitely see Buglioni winning the British title.

Silly comment. Brophy is a Matchroom fighter, it's an impossible fight to make.

Billy might correct me here, but I don't think Brophy has a contract with Matchroom, he's with Alex Morrison who provides most of the undercard for the shows in Scotland, but I don't think any of them are signed with Matchroom.
