Ronnie has a thing that most fighters don't have, heart, he's def not found a level yet, people don't realise before Davie started training him he was training himself and with his trainer once a week if that, he's had two camps with Davie and pushed craig evans a high level amateur at weight above close( not seen fight but those there said he won with neutral crowd Boeing result) he's improvig every fight, he lives the life, doesn't drink etc, is never out the gym for more than a day basically, Davie knows himself he keeps learning and the willingness to be tested he's bound
To get a break, this is a guy who turned pro with 6 am fights, craig evans fought lomacheno in the ams, no disrespect to Michael stupart but ronnie foight
Him 2 of 6 fights! Billy I hope your stable does well, always had banter etc but what you done for ricky was superb, and good to see a top scottish trainer doo g well

I know wee Ronnie and I've always said hed fight anyone even if in his heart of hearts he knows there better than him, he's a top family man and will always do what's best for them and if thats by boxing hard fights he'll do it because yes he's a fighter

Yeah I can't wait to see evans fight footage as seemingly ronnie won it, I think he can box at domestic level, troy james he lost although it was a learning curve, he was awkward , ducked low in which referee didn't stop but hey , he needs to be built up in Scotland to get a fair crack, ronnie has always struggled defensively and since training with Davie both against troy and craig Evans he took no shots, they need to work on him letting his shots go and adding energy into performance, billy you will know yourself that was a real weak point for him, against maxi hughes he took shots he should not be taking, I'd like to see him in with maxi up here, he won't dodge them, he just needs to trust his power, he's still got a good few years left, he's young for his age and not been involved in any wars,

The decision over Craig Evans was a lot worse than the one with Maxi Hughes. It's a shame hopefully you can keep your guys up here fighting in Scotland wouldn't take any chances on the scorecards

I think one of the biggest things with Ronnie so far has been his willingness to fight anyone and also the fact he Kickboxed at world level, as you know they are 2 different sports and it takes time and hard work to transition but since he has been in the gym with me I have seen massive improvements but we are still in our infancy together and imo Ronnie will continue to improve as long as he listens and keeps working on his weaknesses. Ronnie is a young 29 and still has massive hunger to carry on for a few more years.

If you look at the names on his record for someone with very little amateur background Craig Evans, Troy James, Ryan Walsh and Maxi Hughes. There isn't much other boxers with his background who has fought these names this early in their career because Ronnie is basically learning on the job!!

Maybe I picked up the way you worded things in regards to Ally Black but it just seemed that way to me!! haha As long as Ally continues training hard then he can have a good career especially at Lightweight.
